“Some days it feels like the ocean lies inside of me. Lies inside of me.” That was it, first show of the tour done. Felicity was beaming as the crowd clapped and screamed for them. Laughing, she gestured for the rest of the band to come forward, bouncing on the balls of her feet before they all took a bow. “Thankyou! Thankyou for making the first show of our tour the best god damn thing ever. We can’t wait to come back home and we thankyou you all for your support. “Love you!” The band all hoped of stage then. After a quick hug, they split off to meet respective friends and family so they could spend time with them before they drove off in the morning. Hurrying over to her person, she beamed and wrapped her arms around them. “I’m so happy you came! Did you like the show?”
Not that they didn’t have their own tour to worry about, but Jeb and his band mates were happy to open for Felicity and her band. It was a great warm up for when they started tour the next month, and plus how could they turn down a free show? He sat back by the amps, his head slowly bobbing along with the music, every so often texting Addie back when she got a break at work. Eventually the show ended and he darted back so the band and crew had room to move out, laughing as she wrapped her sweaty arms around him. “Yeah it was killer! Thanks for having us too, like we love opening for you guys. Your fans are wild.” He laughed, letting go and looking down at her, a bright smile on his face.
