cindy had this overwhelming feeling of wanting to be close to him, stuffing an arm beneath him and the other pulling him into a hug, holding him to her, while she nuzzled into his neck, easily making him the little spoon. “of course i had to,” she whispered, pressing kisses into his hair, “you’re my favorite person ever and you’re exhausted and that makes me sad,” she spoke so softly, “as soon as i saw how puffy your eyes were in the vlive, i booked my flight because i could see you weren’t sleeping enough and you’ve been working so hard, i’m so proud of you, baby,” she gently rubbed his stomach, “i love you, get some rest, so i can yell at si-hyuk in the morning,” she smiled, talking informally about hitman bang to get across how annoyed at him she was, but also too make him feel better. “goodnight, baby. i’m here, i love you.”
"hmmm.” jungkook hummed, the corners of his lips turned up into a small and sleepy smile as he felt cindy’s lips. “are you still going to be here when i wake up or is this just a really realistic dream?” he questioned, feeling like sleep was going to overtake him soon even though he wanted to be fully awake. “i love you too, my angel.” he whispered, even though all he wanted to do was turn around and just give his girlfriend a real kiss, something he’d normally do when greeting her, but he’d already slipped off into dreamland. a light snore started up pretty quickly and all his dreams were practically full of cindy. he had no idea how much time passed while he was sleeping, but when he woke up, he still felt her arms around him and he couldn’t stop himself from smiling. jungkook turned over in her arms, making sure not to break the hold or end up on top of her or anything. he leaned in, pressing a quick peck to her lips, “you’re really here..” he trailed off, sure that it had been some sort of dream.
