A few days ago I happened to be in a town around 30 miles from where I live when I came across a charity shop (thrift shop?) they are always something of a magnet to me, what's inside? a book? some vintage clothes? an enticing antique? There was a huge plastic dumpster on wheels blocking at least half of the window so I pushed it out of the way and I saw something I recognised immediately, one of my old paintings!

I can't remember who it was I sold it to but I do remember how much I sold it for, and there it was in the window with a price sticker for the sum of £5.

So I bought it !

Three days later I resold it for three times the price I originally sold it for.

I love a synchronicity...

A quick stroll around Belgravia to view everything I can't afford, including coffee and a sandwich! Always great window displays though, the less they have in the window the more you realise you can't afford anything in the shop.

I took a walk over to Kensington palace because the royals don't have enough palaces, it's actually a bunch of apartments where they can stay or live although 'apartment' clearly is an understatement...

The pic above is the French embassy, this particular street has some of the wealthiest people in the most expensive homes and they don't like you taking photographs...

a security guard asked me not to take photographs of this house !

Bit of a heatwave in London over the past few days, the temperature has been up to 28 degrees, when I was a kid it was just called 'Summer' ! Dire warnings from the governmemt about hydrating with water only, threats of heart attacks and sudden deaths, I remember when hot weather in the UK was good news!
