When you make an animated film, you end up making A TON of drawings.  A lot of those drawings are just to help describe how something is constructed or how it should move.  Those drawings can get boring.  So to keep it fun, the Zootopia drawings got weirder and weirder.  Here’s some mildly weird ones.

Hey all. Here is comic 26 and unfortunately this might be the last House of Ails comic we do for a while (possibly forever :(

Doing a Ren and Stimpy influenced Grossup or Gross up as they are called (which is a brilliant name) was something we had talked about from when we started the comic.

This story also stems from this nearly exact exchange of words between my wife and her mom when my twins turned 8 years old. It really cracked me up and I thought we could turn it into a comic.

As for this being the last comic, having many other things going on makes it difficult to create a comic. The writing and art take a lot of time, especially when you are doing specific characters. I love creating this comic but it’s hard to justify the fun, when you have children to feed and bills to pay.

I hope you all enjoyed this comic. It was something we started when I had lost my job and helped to keep me focused on a cool and challenging project that I learned so much from!
