HEY YUGIOH FANDOM (ALL SERIES)
What do YOU want to see yugioh in the US do?
I may be able to forward your responses to someone who can listen and take YOUR opinion into account and we could see changes faster as a result, but I need YOUR input! This person has said that 4K has tried to listen to fans over the last few years and now they are in a position to help expand the brand/ a.k.a WE CAN GET NEW STUFF If you haven’t noticed 4K has made quite a few positive steps to address fandom needs such as: 1. having the whole/most yugioh series on netflix, crunchyroll, etc 2. More advertising (outside of TCG) 3. fully voicing Duel Links 4. Bringing the voice actors to premiere YGO TCG events 5. Bringing Takahashi to SDCC 2015/WCS 2016 6. Merch (i.e. ygo monopoly) etc 7. Bringing ygo series to DVD So please reply/reblog with your response!! examples: - more interaction with the fan community (encourage cosplay?) - new art assets for merch - simulcast ARCV/Next yugioh series with Japan via streaming service (i.e. crunchyroll) and/or broadcast dub consistently on television - “IRL (in real life) duel disks with actual VR when” - Working with anime conventions to perhaps bring staff/crew/cast (JP or EN) more non-TCG presence (the ads at AnimeExpo were nice and booth at San Diego Comic Con) Reblog/share with other fans/friends you know! There is no deadline but the faster i get responses the faster I can compile them to send them off!
A good dub that keeps most of the music and dialogue of the original, has less cheap looking cards, directs the voice actors to deliver the dialogue in a less stiff way, has fewer lame puns and jokes, and just in general doesn’t feel like a massive downgrade from the original in every way.

The term used was “Gekirin” which apparently is a scale on a dragon that’s inverted and if touched, it causes the wrath of the dragon. So Yuya and/or his growing collection of dragons might have a rage button. Oh dear.
IT'S HAPPENING.
THE EXPRESSION FROM THE ART SHEET
But hey, at least Detroit's 9 actually managed to win a championship.

What do you think of the claim that a bad game is 'fine with friends'?
Let me tell you a story.
When I was a senior in high school, a new game swept the school. It was called ‘Keys’. USB sticks had just become required in most computer classes, so almost everyone had one, and most people kept them on their keys. Most seniors and juniors also drove to school, and had at least 1 or 2 other keys on their key ring. Most people had a USB stick, a couple keys, a decoration, and maybe one other thing. These were pretty big chunks of keys.
'Keys' was a simple game. You walk into a room, you see your friend, you yell KEYS! and then throw your wad of keys at their dick as hard as you possible could. And this game took off like wildfire. In two weeks, everybody was playing. Even the girls were playing it, despite not having the appropriate target to hit with an enormous wad of keys. Almost everybody got hit in the junk at least once, and yet the game went on for months before people got tired of it.
Remember that, whenever someone uses ‘it’s fun with friends!’ as a defense.

Optime!
i’m so upset
I just realized that the reason ghosts say Boo! is because it’s a latin verb
they’re literally saying ‘I alarm/I am alarming/I do alarm!!
I can’t
present active boō, present infinitive boāre, perfect active boāvī, supine boātum
Recte!
if it comes from the latin word, they’re actually saying “I’M YELLING!” which is even cuter
do they speak latin because it’s a dead language
yeah, ‘presenting information and allowing your readers to make decisions based on it themselves’ is fucking asinine
what a tool
What an honest and respectable group of people.

Do you like Demon’s Souls? From Software’s early work was a little too unpolished for my tastes, but when DeS came out in ‘09, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole game has a clear, focused combat system, and a respect for the player’s intelligence that really gives the gameplay a big boost. He’s been compared to Miyamoto, but I think Hidetaka Miyazaki has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.
