The Jirachi event started giving us access to adorable starry themed items.
Funny enough, the day before this event was announced, I had just finished the Tea House for the Clefairy family and had thought to myself how I wanted to have starry wall decorations to lean a bit further into the space theme the Clefairy family have. I got what I wanted!
I've been continuing working on my Japanese themed Rocky Ridges. I made a home for the Toxel family (and also DJ Rotom) which is a kind of a music/record store (building next to the Pokémon Center) and I also built around the Pokémart to make it fit the theme more.
I am also attempting to turn this mine into a hot spring building.
A Japanese tea house for the Clefairy family!
Progress pictures of turning the restaurant ruins in Rocky Ridges into a Japanese restaurant. I'm really pleased how this turned out. It's been a project I've wanted to do in this game for a while now!
Since I was working on my Pokédex, I made sure to take selfies with the rest of the Legendary Pokémon!
I finally finished the Pokopia Pokédex!! Now I can concentrate on continuing to develop the current areas, until part one of the DLC drops in August.
I'm really looking forward to the free update and the first part of the DLC in August! This has also motivated me to actually try and finish the current Pokédex, which I've not been focusing on as I've been trying to build and develop the areas instead lol
It's been a bit since I did a Pokopia update, so here is the progress I am making in the Sparkling Skylands. I wanted to go for a pastel/fairycore kinda theme for it. I'm slowly joining the islands together via staircases and bridges, though this is really eating into my white and pink paint lol
I did a bit of landscaping work here in order to open it up a bit more to the beach area. I then added a bridge over the top and landscaped the other side. I was also able to work out some stairs that leads to where I've built the houses for the Bulbasaur and Pidgey families.
I'm currently not entirely sure what to do with Professor Tangrowth's old cave. I'm thinking of possibly getting rid of the cliff that's above it and opening it up for more floor space, but I'll tackle that as and when I need to. Right now I've got a number of places I can build houses on for my Pokémon friends.
I woke up this morning and went: 'I want my storage boxes to be a rainbow.'
I finally got the last Mysterious Slate that I needed to finish the Mew mural!!
I hope Mew enjoys living in the Withered Wasteland library with Mewtwo as assistant librarian!
Progress pictures of Raikou's new home in Bleak Beach! I really wanted to convert the ruins of the building where Raikou first appeared into a home for him. It felt fitting that our local legendary should get a home that is high up position that overlooks the rest of the city.
I visited a random Dream Island and ended up getting Raikou on it! I didn't have a house ready for him, but I do know what area I want to work on for his home in Bleak Beach. But first... it's SELFIE TIME!
Bulbasaur is currently doing a jump rope contest event and my first attempt was not exactly the best. I then saw advice to watch Bulbasaur's movements and to jump when his nose touches the ground and that helped a lot in getting more jumps in.
I managed to get 51 jumps to get the trophy and I haven't bothered with the contest since lol
I built a house for the Bulbasaur line recently and aimed to make it a home fit for a family of grass types. I absolutely love the idea of burying the palm trees to make them look like large ferns. Sadly, I can't move Bulbasaur in at the moment. He's too busy being the talk of the town at the moment due to the current event lol
I'm slowly working on the Withered Wastelands and I decided to make a nice little waterfall where the raised gate is in the back area. I also fixed the ladder at the back and added an elevator there.
I cleaned up the entrance to the back area a bit more and extended the pathway through it. I did think of opening it up more, but I kind of like the look of it being a little tunnel.
I finally got around to building one of those huge builds you find in Palette Town, which means....
