The door to the throne room swings open as Billy walks into the space. Safe to say the assassin had worked with a lot of different clients in the past. He had met a lot of people with different personalities. Some he can tolerate, some he can't. In that case, he would just kill off the client and move on to a new one.
Sap though... this case is a little bit more special in his opinion. Him and Sap signed a contract for Billy to work under his wings till he gets his kingdom from Parrot. Said contract has been extended due to his condition of sharing the macaw. Co own, is that what they call it?
Billy rounds the long table at the front after finding the throne empty of the server's new king.
He heard them before he saw them. There on the floor is Parrot being pinned by Sap, his eyes unfocused, breaths coming in short. The macaw's hands come up to push at Sap's chest, trying to get the man off of him to no use. Sap has his face buried in Parrot's neck, drunk on the avian's blood. Each suck sends a wave of dizziness over Parrot's mind. Black spots started to dance in his vision.
Parrot's whine pulls Billy out of his state of shock. He shortens the distance between them with two long strides and with a quick motion swiftly pulls Sap off of Parrot. The vampire struggles for a brief moment, as if it wasn't already enough and he wanted more of that sweet blood.
"Enough" Billy grunts out as he lets go of Sap's cape, letting him sit back down on top of Parrot's limp body.
Sap looks up at Billy with a hint of annoyance before dragging his eyes down to Parrot. The avian's hands are already dropping to his sides, his eyes blown wide looking at nothing. Soft pants can be heard coming from him.
Like something just snapped inside Sap, he briefly wipes the remaining blood off his mouth and stands up to stalk back towards his throne.
"Sorry, Parrot...." The tone was so soft, as if he hadn't just nearly popped the avian's totem and potentially sucked him dry if Billy hadn't come in time.
"You're in a bad mood today." Not looking at Sap, Billy gently kneels down on one knee and lifts Parrot up so that he rests his head on Billy's arm. He checks over the bite marks on Parrot's neck to make sure the blood is starting to clot.
"You can tell?" Sap sighs as he reaches his throne, his hand gliding over the armrest.
"Parrot never pushes you away when you're feeding." He never fights back. In fact, Billy is quite sure the fact that he was fighting back just then was because he was scared. So scared that his instinct kicked in.
Billy then checks his eyes to see if Parrot is still responsive. And when he makes sure that he still is, the gray avian pulls out a bottle of health potion and puts it close to Parrot's mouth, feeding him the potion. When he sees Parrot start drinking it, he turns his attention back to Sap.
"...Clown." Sap sits back down on his throne, his eyes boredly gazing over the scene in front of him.
"We had an agreement before the great war that he will provide my kingdom with his supplies from the Nether when I inevitably take over the Overworld."
The first bottle of health potion empties out. Billy throws the bottle to the side, takes a look at Parrot, and pulls out another. Billy once again guides the bottle to the avian's mouth. Parrot's hands come up to push at Billy's.
"No... no more.. I'm already-..."
Even using both of his hands, Parrot can't even slow down Billy's hand as he pushes the opening of the bottle to Parrot's mouth.
"One more." Better be safe than sorry. The assassin once again gives the king his attention, lifting his face up to meet Sap's eyes. He raises an eyebrow, signaling Sap to continue.
"He stopped, like two days ago. Saying he won't provide any more unless I give him one of my lands in the North." Sap rests his head on his hand, still coming down from the blood high and his own anger.
"So what's stopping us from just straight up attacking him?" His hand twitches a bit, causing the potion to pour down Parrot's throat a little too quickly. Billy rips the bottle away and hauls Parrot up so he's more upright, letting the avian cough out the remaining liquid.
The red color of the health potion splashes over Billy's armor, but he couldn't care less.
"We can't just send people into his territory like that. The last squads I sent in never came back. Clown really knows how to use his environment to his advantage," Sap continues.
"We need a plan, we need someone who can navigate the Nether, someone who knows Clown's castle. So that we can hit him where it hurts." Sap starts to bite his nails in thought, a bad habit the vampire never got rid of.
"Well," Billy starts, stopping Sap in his thoughts, "I think I know someone who can do all that." He slightly opens his arm, presenting the macaw in his arms. The said avian has already passed out from exhaustion.
Sap's eyes light up as if all the weight on his shoulders has been lifted. "Yes. He will do."
