i miss the curly cords on old phones where you’d have to stand there and talk and you’d twirl the cord around your fingers. cordless phones lack that tangibleness that physical distraction i mean with a cordless phone i end up roaming the house and walking into walls and my conversation can be heard by more people too. if my hands can’t wander my feet do and that’s not necessarily a good thing.
