Additional features include a Know Your Rights section that outlines your rights when stopped by law enforcement and alerts when someone nearby is recording an incident with the app.

Edit 5/5/2015: I noticed people have been asking about Mobile Justice’s availability in other states. Currently the app is available in Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, New York, and Oregon.

There are plans for other states to roll out the app. Please contact your local ACLU. Officially, Mobile Justice CA is intended for use by people in California. However, the app does work in other states and will send videos and reports to an ACLU of California office.
