last night, i decided to star gaze after getting home late due to having late night flights back to florida. i began to think about our relationship and how far we’ve come. according to my roommate, i had the biggest dumb look/grin on my face when she came out to check on me. the next day, i just had the biggest impulse to do something out of the ordinary. as crazy as these next few words might fucking sound, it’s the absolute truth.
i went out and bought you a star.
crazy right? but let me tell you something, jenna mcdougall, you honestly are the star of my life. i know that sounds hella cheesy but it’s the truth. before meeting you, i was just so awkward and quiet and kept to myself. but you showed me it was okay to be myself. because of you, i started to come more and more out of my shell. because of you, i’m not afraid of showing my true colors. you mean so much more to me than anything i’ve ever loved and cared about.
