What Would You Do IF You Had a P0128 CODE on Your Vehicle : Brought it to A "Garage" TURNS OUT THEY COULDN'T FIX THAT DAY BUT HAD IT ON A LIFT FOR AN HOUR, Five Minutes After Rescheduling Your Appointment & Leaving, YOUR CX AXLE BREAKS ON THE WAY OUT OF THERE, They TOW You Back and "FIX" It $180 Bill ... (But There's STILL Popping and Banging in Your Wheels AFTER they've "Fixed" It) ... But You Don't Want to Be 'That Guy, So, You Leave With It and Say/Do Nothing ... A Week Later You Return to Have that Thermostat Replaced, You're Not Given the Same Mechanic that Did Your Axle, and You Aren't Comfortable with the New Guy but It's -20's Outside and You're Desperate to Get HEAT in Your Vehicle So you Keep Your Mouth Shut and Let the "New" Guy TEAR INTO YOUR VEHICLE, during the Horrible Experience, you LITERALLY WATCH THE NEW GUY TAKE SOMETHING FROM UNDERNEATH YOUR VEHICLE'S HOOD AND HAND TO A SHADY WORKER THERE, TELLING HIM TO "PUT THAT IN HIS POCKET" (Again) You're Extremely Uncomfortable and You Also Don't Want to Make Accusations While Your VEHICLE is Lifted and Ripped Open (So You Bite Your Tongue & Feel Like Crying) 2 Hours Later the "Mechanic" Let's You Know He's Finished & We Take It For a Test Drive : DURING THIS TEST DRIVE THE COOLANT LIGHT COMES ON, JUST LIKE IT HAS BEEN ALL ALONG, ALSO THE TEMPERATURE ISN'T REACHING 185 AND THE P0128 CODE IS STILL SPITTING! So Finally You Say Something, "Why's that Code still Spitting and Coolant Light still On and Temp NOT Reaching Proper 185" ? He Says "It's fine, just needs to RESET ITSELF, just drive for a little while" YOU DON'T LIKE THAT ANSWER SO YOU MAKE SURE YOU ASK THE CORRECT QUESTION " WAS THAT THERMOSTAT YOU TOOK OUT, EVEN BROKEN " ? He Says "YES, I COULD PUSH IT IN EASILY, IT WAS BROKEN" Anyone Who Understands What I'm Getting At, Will UNDERSTAND WHY that Statement He Made was MY FIRST CLUE that I've Been HAD. So Regretfully and Unsatisfied You Pay the $141 Bill and Leave, Praying It'll "Reset" Itself, Knowing You're Not that Dumb but REALLY HOPING PEOPLE AREN'T THAT SCUMMY. Soooo ... then, LESS than a WEEK Later : THAT SAME CODE SPIT AGAIN ONLY THIS TIME IT'S ALSO SPITTING P0171 & P0300 ALL AT THE SAME TIME ... You're Feeling AWFUL! TRAPPED WITH A DISHONEST GARAGE THAT SEEMS TO FIND A WAY TO GET YOU BACK NO MATTER WHAT! You KNOW They're Going to Diagnose it Correctly because They're the Last One's to Touch It : But : Will they "Fix" It for the $300-$400 They're Desperately TRYING TO SQUEEZE OUT OF ME - Or - Remove/Pocket Other Parts as Long as They're Under There! #WWYD?
