Regine Ramsier, 2000 Suspended Dandelions, 2011

We are astounded by the patience and beauty of this installation piece. Ramsier first treated the dandelions with a gentle adhesive before placing them in a special palette she designed to fit in the back of her car. Then she moved the 2,000 flower/weeds into the gallery space and suspended them one at a time from the ceiling. Wouldn’t this be a great practice piece for Slow Art Day?
