Today I wrote. I haven't written a single word. I haven't plotted. I haven't edited. So how can I say that I've written? Because any progress is progress. I have been working on moving all my different saved WIPs to the same, accessable place. I have taken away the excuse that they are saved on this computer, or on this flash drive, or anywhere but where I am. I have physically looked at each idea I've been holding onto in all their varying states of existence, and I have let myself remember other ideas I have yet to do anything with. I have sipped coffee and felt that long lost energy of writer excitement. I have let myself take a small step and am not pushing it, for today. I call this a major success. I wrote. In case you're wondering where I have disappeared off to...My "day job" is going nuts as the local middle and high school drama director. This weekend has been the performance weekend for our high school's production of Little Shop of Horrors, and it's been a whirlwind!
