**fiction-continuation of fiction story**
She was a small wealthy town girl. Went to boarding school. Her parents extravagant and always away traveling.
She made friends easily with both looks and personality. The campus of her school so much like a college campus. Big, old, brick buildings.
When she graduated her parents had so many plans for her. But she took her own path. She was a career woman.
Eventually she moved out of state, met the wrong guy and fell in lust. She has a baby now. And moved back home.
She spends most is her time at home with her daughter. Moved back into her parents but they aren’t home much (some things never change) so it feels as this old big house belongs to her.
She sneaks away in the weekends for a quick lunch with friend, a quiet date night or even a shopping trip.
But she can’t help but enjoy the town she grew up in. Wealth can sure bring on a lot of drama.
An ode to summer on Labor Day:
I truly long for fall every day. It’s my favorite. Where I wish to live. But What. A. Summer.
We had so much fun: celebrated Father’s Day, turning two, learning to ride our bike, spent time with my sister, went to the zoo, park, playground, movies, splash pad, beach, prepared for kindergarten, dances, sang, laughed. Played with friends and laughed with family and vice versa.
But what we truly loved for this summer was swim. I watched over the past three months as my girls turned to mermaids. The jumped, splashed, dove and stayed in the water for every last possible minute.
I am truly grateful for this life and having sweet friends and wonderful family to share it with. Summer 2019. You will always have a special place in my heart. And even though you are coming to an end. I will forever remember your beauty. Thank you.
Now onto the next chapter. And pumpkins. So so many pumpkins.

**Fictional writing/ trying something new**
A look into the scandalous lives of H****** elite. M**** flew to Sandals separate her husband Evan. He was finishing up some work in Chicago then heading there to meet her. They so needed this time alone without the kids. She had two projects come up for fall PTA and so much on her mind. Flopping down on the private beachside bed cabana she rented for the week she was going to lay out there read a bit of her romance novel and then get an hour massage by the water. Evan would be in by 4pm, unless his flight was delayed. What to do with 6 hours at this beautiful resort just herself?!
Girls who brunch. On Saturday in the blazing heat I went to brunch with my good friend Laura. She is seriously the kindest soul and I am so grateful to call her a close friend. We talk about motherhood, life, love and all things girl. I have always wanted to be someone who goes to brunch. It sounds so sophisticated. I may have even had s mimosa. What? Who’s this? Time spent with friends makes life so much better. Also have you ever seen a more quaint little spot?!
Everything about this photo just feels like comfort to me. This is a new path leading from a brand new section at our favorite cute local zoo. On this day it was hot but this path lead to shade. I had my two sweet babies in the stroller and I visioned all of my memories here. Pushing babies, breastfeeding babies, lulling them to sleep. Something about this zoo brings magic and excitement. I quickly envisioned 3,000 more babies (maybe my own, maybe others) and all of their fun they would have here. I hope my girls never outgrow their love for the zoo. Because I will never tire of coming here.
Fiction/real/trying something different:
A secret look into the scandalous lives of Hu**** elite. This is the country club lives they live. The women/moms are sitting back a the pool. Sipping summery cocktails while the shop the online Nordstrom sale, kids splashing in the background close by. One mom thinks about her dinner/date night at the local wine bar while the other plans her organic dinner. They may have small secrets but as they lounge the wonder about their neighbor who has had a lot of afternoon company lately. It’s hot and emotions are running high as the temperature. Maybe some shopping at the local shops before heading home and getting pretty for their hard working husbands and heading out. They plan to meet next week for book club at Ma***s house. This is the lives they/we live. The lives we always dreamt about. But are all our needs being met?!?
Living the best summer pool life. Today we went to the pool with our friends: Anna, Sophia and Ava. Ella showed no fear at all and loved when Emma pulled her around on her back. Emma is so much more brave and even jumped in and went underwater. I am so so proud of where she is considereinf when she started. We are truly blessed to call these girls friends and I always love our time with them. Now we just need to find a house in their neighborhood. And we could swim there all the time. I so so love my Mondays off with my girls. It makes working 10s totally worth it.
We actually went on a date last night. To a baseball game/birthday party for one of Brian’s friends since school. We haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. Beer and alcohol were consumed and we got to sit together in a cool suite inbetween rain drops and watch the workers on the field. I sat and visited and laughed with my good friend( since grade school) Heather. His wife hired a magician (as a joke) and he blew all of our 30 somethings minds. The night ended with fireworks and Brian throwing tennis balls onto the field in hopes of winning a prize. Honestly we don’t spend enough adult time together. Here’s to more dates.
She’s almost TWO I am so so not ready. She’s such a boss and everyone does everything she demands. She sweet and also a mommas girl. She loves to be outside and says new things to keep us laughing everyday. Soaking up the next few weeks of one. Because my momma heart is just not ready. Time you are a thief. Head of the household here. This baby. When does ones heart stop longing for more babies? The answer for me is never. Each new season brings so much joy though.
Social
Did you ever enjoy people watching? I could sit somewhere and just watch people all day. Truth is I am totally a people person. Meeting them. Talking. Getting to know one another. So happy for people that I have in my circle. Emma goes to school with some families I have slowly met and got to know. We been to some birthday parties and it’s so fun to try and figured everyone out.
I love this little town we live in. And all the friends we have met along the way.
Last Saturday I went to Canton to meet a good friend that I have been close with since grade school. She still lives at home where I grew up. And now matter how many moths it’s been since we have last seen each other. We can always pick up right where we left off. We can talk about anything. Husbands, kids, work, shows. We even started a book club. Reading the same book and then talking and laughing about it. Sometimes we watch shows instead. Saturday it was the perfect grey day and snow filled the air. We are Panera soup and bread and talking and laughing about all things important. It was the best mom date and time out. I caught this snow on my way home. Days like these are the best.
Sometimes I can work the camera angle to get a good selfie. And I don’t always wear mom clothes.
I am about to get really personal. I spent the last 18 months nursing. It was so hard yet so amazing all in one. With Emma it never really worked the two of us never really synchronized together but with Ella it just happened right from the beginning. It wa such a bonding and we just made it work. I find myself covering up and finding secret quiet little corners while out in public to nurse. It’s alone time to bond just the two of us. These are flash back memories from then. Even one at the zoo. Afterwards she usually fell asleep. And once she did. I covered her up comfy and cozy. I want to always remember these days and as always Fed is best. But I am sure glad it worked this way for us. I know the time will come when I miss the late night feedings. But I will always have the photos to look back on.
These are a few of my favorite things
You know that cool crisp feeling of air in the fall. That is one of my favorite feeing ever. It happened late October when we went to Cincinnati for my cousin Lyndsey’s wedding. The girls were flower girls. It was so amazing. We drove down to cincinnati Thursday before. Our drive was interesting as Ella had a poop explosion in the car. We checked in to a new remodeled hotel. They had a tall glass shower that the girls loved. Which was great because Ella needed a shower soon as we got there. We bounced on the beds and had tons of room for the girls to run back and forth. We went to the rehearsal dinner, dressed the girls in matching flower dresses and had the most amazing peach cobbler wirh cinammon Carmel ice cream for dessert.
The next day (Friday) Brian and the girls and I went to explore the Cincinnati zoo. We saw Fiona the hippo (she’s famous) and discovered the giraffes. It was cool enough to break out a light jacket and soft sweater for me.
That evening we met up with Grammy and poppy and went to the cutest most quaint little town for bbq dinner at a local place. It’s well known for their ribs. The town was decorated with sparkly Christmas lights and the restaurant was so good. We drove back as it began to rain and all went down to the pool for a late night swim.
The next morning Emma got her hair done with the big girls while Ella and the guys hung at the hotel.
Once back we prepared for the wedding. The goodies were on the tv and it was so amazing. Had me thinking of our wedding night (we watched that the night we got married) and it also reminds me of fall.
The wedding day was so windy. It was outdoors and the cool breeze blew. The first cool day of the fall. Also my favorite. Emma was the most perfect flower girl that ever was.
And Ella walked down the isle wirh daddy. It was a great time with family. Brian danced the night away with the girls and we visited with family.
The morning brought continental breakfast before leaving and a four hour drive home. It was the perfect cool windy rainy fall weekend. With the most beautiful flower girls.
