We stood in the kitchen for a serious talk. We got business out of the way and the conversation quickly turned to a lighter subject, weddings. We discovered we are interested in the same thing; small simple and loving. Something fun. At the end of our conversation you came close to me. I set down my wine and we danced. Cheek to cheek. As these days and weeks turn to months, as these memories become more and more I fall deeper and deeper. I'm grateful to God for finding you.

You were grilling the burgers and I was standing in the shallows of the pool just kicking water around singing the songs on the radio. You were in your world and I in mine. You stepped away from the grill to fetch something from inside, but something stopped you and you looked at me. The smile you have me was the most amazing expression I’ve ever seen from you. You put your hands up in front of you and stole a moment; a mental snapshot. In this moment was the most beautiful I’ve ever felt. I wasn’t wearing something expensive or glamorous. Just a simple sun dress I’ve worn a hundred times before. In this moment I knew I want forever with you.

Until then

I lay in my bed and think of you. Not just your face and your smike, but your vibrance. You have so much love and a beautiful soul. You care for people and are always curious. You don't just look at me you're always trying to understand what emotion encourages a certain expression from me. I'm learning quickly to love your quirks. Packing you for your business trip was endless fun as I realize now that you only packed 3 pairs of pants and about 20 shirts for 7 days away from home. Saturday can't come quickly enough my dear. ...until then. ❤💋

I mean no harm to anyone here. First of all, memorial day is to remember those military members that we have lost. Second, just because you don't believe in the United states military or what you think they stand for, doesn't mean you need to express your opinion this way. Lastly, Thank you, to all the men and women who gave their lives to ensure that i have a safe place to call home. I am proud to be American.

No more excuses

I've been putting off the gym for a few weeks. Putting up excuses like "I'm in the middle of moving" "work was draining" "date night!". I'm over feeling sluggish. It's not like I can't do things before or after the gym. I'm over putting it off. I can only succeed if I try. 😊❤️💪
