It's already been 1 year since I first discovered my love for Randall and I'm so happy I did. I would be lost without him to be honest, he's helped me get through a lot and discover a couple of things about myself. Monsters Inc holds a special place in my heart and it always will. TLDR for this AU is its ofc more silly than actual stranger things bc its. monsters inc LMAO El is a human girl who is hiding from brenner (a monster) and Will is a monster kid who's hiding from Henry Creel (a human) and they both have the ability to switch from monster to human (?) still working that out LOL but El is mostly seen as a human wearing a monster costume like boo when she's little, and Will doesn't discover his human ability until the s5 timeline!

I've actually done a lot of silly au within the au art of byler going to MU, where mine and my friend's monster sonas run the scare games. They're apart of the Gamma Rho Rawr group (grr for short) and ofc it's blue and yellow LMAO they technically joined the scare games on accident

Behold, my Monsters University self insert! (Also some drawings of Chet, Javier, and Randy)

He's for my romantic yumeship with Randy and my frenemies yumeship with Johnny.

His name is Lawrence, after Lawrence from The Princess and the Frog because I like naming my self inserts after characters I love or relate to. He's a scaring major as MU and a member of Roar Omega Roar. He hates the greek life scene and considers himself too intellectual and would prefer reading on the quad to partying. But he still likes being in ROR because he needs everyone to know he's the best of the best. He's actually bigender, but he only goes by he/him at this time in his life because he's afraid that if they know he's a girl he'll be kicked out of ROR. (But by the time of MI she's out)

Due to being calm and introspective compared to most his friends, he tends to not have loyalties and to help whoever he likes. He first met Randy during the beginning of the year frat/sorority bash when he dropped all his cupcakes and Lawrence insisted on helping him clean up. When Randy joined the team it didn't take long for them to start dating in secret. Randy rarely talks around the rest of the RORs, but Lawrence always speaks up for him when he's too anxious too.

He likes bullying Johnny because I like bullying Johnny. He is constantly trying to make Johnny break his perfect cocky persona through light teasing, for instance calling him "Worthlesston" and insulting him for not buttoning up his shirt. Over all, Johnny considers him a significant annoyance, but they both need each other to keep their status.

He's also secret friends with Mike, because they relate a lot to each other. They're both scaring nerds who feel like they have a lot to prove and are in love with Randy

It makes me upset to see a bunch of people bash on transmasc Jax and/or ftm Jax. Because like- that headcannon has genuinely brought me so much happiness. Especially my maid Jax plush, literally hug that guy everytime I get dysphoric because it reminds me that "Oh hey if the Jax in the show feels that way you're not alone."
