Cloud hadn’t thought there was anyone in the area when he suddenly encountered the pup. He felt a little awkward. It seemed as though the boy was familiar with him, but Cloud was drawing a blank on who he was. 

"Uh….Hello.." Cloud replied.

"Hi Uncle Cloud! Sorry if you don’t remember me or anything. The multiverse is still rather new to me. I’m Zack and Aerith’s son. Call me Sentinel."

"Sentinel, huh?" Cloud said. This child was Zack and Aerith's kid? While he could now see some of the resemblance to the parents Cloud couldn't help but be sightly distracted by the wagging tail behind Sentinel.

Cloud looked back when he heard Link coughing really loudly. It looked as though the boy still had a bit of water in his system. It made sense since the boy almost had drowned in the sea.  ”Are you alright?” Cloud asked with concern.

"Oh dang…" he shook the water off his hands, then smiles weakly at him. "Yeah, I am fine, do not worry." Saying before he coughs again, but it wasn’t as bad.

Cloud wasn't buying it. Link had just nearly hacked up a lung before coughing up a lot of water. Even though Link was saying he was okay he was still coughing quite a bit. 

"I'll carry you the rest of the way there. You just take it easy for a bit there champ." Cloud said as he lifted the boy up. In hind sight he probably should have done this in the first place.

"Really?" The boy’s eyes lit up as he smiled brightly. "Well sure, if you’re really sure it’s no trouble Cloud! I’d really appreciate the help." He liked it when Cloud was around, at least it made the job a little easier. He also saw this as small bonding time, so naturally, he considered it a bonus.

Cloud nodded as he gently ruffled Denzel’s hair. “You’re welcome. Besides between the two of us this should get done twice as fast.” Cloud said with a smile. “If we do a good job and the room gets completely clean, I’ll treat you to something alright?”

Denzel laughed as Cloud ruffled his hair, he was officially excited now. “I think we can get it done. And I’ll be sure to do a great job Cloud! Just you watch, I’ll do the best job anyone here will be so impressed!”

It was good to see Denzel happy like that. Cloud could not hide the small smile that crept onto his face. "Alright....Let's get moving." Cloud said as he started to pick up a few books off of the floor.

"Mako reactors?" Link asked, the word unknown to him.

Since Link looked clueless on the subject Cloud would have to enlighten him. "Mako reactors are giant factory plants that drill down into the earth to collect energy in order to power towns and cities, as well as certain kinds of weapons. Mako energy has allowed the world to revolutionize at a surprising rate.  However the 'Mako' is ironically the life force of the planet as a whole. The more mako used the quicker the planet and everyone on it dies." Cloud explained.

Gohan raised his hand up to wipe some of the tears away, he looked down at his hand; the drops falling unto the ground softly. A soft faint white glow rose out his body, lifting his black hair up for a few moments before it faded. His expression became more serious as he looked at his hands, they slowly began to ball into fists. The dust beginning to swirl around his feet, a faint white outline forming around him. He squeezed his eyes shut, he had friends that used to live here, they still did for all he knew but now…he was too scared to go to their houses right now. His anger began to build, the tears falling down his cheeks were picked up by his rising aura as it began to flare upwards.

His friends Yorda, Lime, Videl were all gone and wouldn’t be able to see them ever again; the more he thought about the more his anger grew. The rocks near him began to move, his white aura sweeping them into the air; the ground around his feet cracking.

Memories of his friends were playing back in his mind, playing hide and go seek by the big apple tree with a knothole in the center of the trunk. Throwing rocks together by the river and playing tag out in the farmer’s wheat fields even when it got dark. Helping the grown-ups prepare for their summer harvest festival be helping them prepare the offerings for the gods and the town feast that would follow shortly after.

Those once happy memories were fuel to the growing fire, the white energy became more  intense around him, his black hair rising upwards along with it and his nearby surroundings.

In the distance Cloud could see a glowing light coming from the other side of town. Whatever it was certainly was not normal. Perhaps what ever had destroyed the city had returned while Cloud had been looking for possible survivors. Despite the possible danger Cloud could not afford to back down. 

As he got closer to where the light was emanating from he could feel the energy in the air getting stronger. He hadn't felt anything like it before. It was different than the presence he felt when fighting Sephiroth or Shin-ra Troops. The closest thing he could think of would be the energy given off of a Summon Materia. 

The power was getting stronger with every step he took closer. Before long he had reached a position near where the source of this power was coming from.  Instinct told him to remain cautious and not to rush head first into danger. Carefully he put his hand on the hilt of his sword to be ready to draw it at a moment's notice. Using a building as cover Cloud carefully placed himself against it in order to observe the situation with out being seen. 

To his surprise all the power he had been feeling was coming from one young boy. He couldn't have been much older then 10. Although the fact still remained that the child was capable of inhuman strength. It was very possible that the child in fact was the one responsible for all the destruction in the area. For now the warrior sat in wait curious to see what the boy was going to do next.

Cloud could recall several times where Tifa and Marlene did the same thing to him. He looked around the cluttered room. It certainly could used a good cleaning.  ”If you want I could lend you a hand, Denzel. I’ve got nothing but free time right now anyways.”  Cloud offered.

"No. I'm actually looking for someone. You see... I'm close to the ruler of my kingdom. But we were then attacked by unknown creatures. They were being lead by someone, and our ruler went missing. I was able to pick up their trail, they seemed to be going to places that have high amounts of energy. I even traveled across oceans on a ship in search for Zelda and these forces, and it's lead me here so far," Link explained, looking out the window till he looked at Cloud. "You wouldn't happen to notice anything out of the ordinary would you?"

High amounts of energy? Strange occurrences? Maybe the unfortunate events of Hyrule were connected with some of the events that had been happening around here as well. "We've had a sharp increase in monster activity, and never before seen mutations have been popping up in monsters that live in the areas around the failed Mako reactors." Cloud replied.

"Cloud? Did you come for another insightful conversation?" he teased the other.(mun: dissidia verse, hello ^^ thanks for the follow)

The former solider had not noticed Kuja’s presence until he had spoken up. Cloud looked over and saw Kuja floating about as he usually did. He had only known the man for a short while, but he was beginning to get used to the mage. “Not really.” Cloud quickly replied to Kuja’s teasing. “What are you doing here, Kuja?”

"I think we all still retain what we learned…or some of it, from our memories.  Even if we do not truly remember them.  The changes to us as people, they are still maintained."  he spoke.  Kuja smiled a little at Cloud.  "I only wish I had actually gone with my gut in the first place…concerning Zidane especially."  he said.  Kuja closed his eyes.  "My foolishness back then…I am learning from it now.  This is just another growing experience, on top of our pasts.  So we must think of what we can do now…to grow in this."  he spoke.  Kuja rubbed the back of his head.  "Anyway, if you ever need an escape, here is fine."  he spoke with a shrug.  "But out there, I suppose you and I are probably destined to fight."  he spoke.

Cloud listened to what Kuja had to say on the matter. There was some truth in Kuja's words. Maybe he really had been over thinking the entire situation. Nonetheless there was no point in worrying about all of this now. 

"Thanks. I'll be sure to come here...When ever I need some peace for myself." Cloud replied. He was grateful for all of this. "One last thing, Kuja.........While it's true that the cards of our fate have already been dealt it is up to us to decide on what to do from here on out. Destiny is not something that is always carved in stone."

Never assume that an RP blog ships a certain thing unless they’ve stated otherwise. Even if that ship is canon to their character.

Do not assume that a muse is aware of everything that happens in their story. Some muses are AU, or are taken from earlier on in the story.

Don’t judge someone’s characterization from a single post or thread. You don’t know how things developed to get them to that point.

Realize that muses are not static things. Everyone’s portrayal and development is different. It would be so boring if everyone played the same character the same way.
