cordelia: but i will tell you that you are WRONG about there being nothing in the dark that can hurt me. bats are in the dark. do you know how many diseases a SINGLE bat alone carries?? dozens!! and then there's limitless BUGS out there!!

cordelia: now i'm not pulling a cliche "omg bugs"

cordelia: there has been a record amount of spottings of AND deaths by kissing bugs ALL OVER the united states. those fuckers could pop up anywhere.

cordelia: and i will not chance receiving the kiss of death by going outside in this complete and utter darkness. nope. no way josé. get outta town.

jensen: i was gonna say that i wasn't laughing at you, but with you -- but nope, completely laughing at you. well, more so about the bats thing. i feel you on the bugs.

jensen: has there even been a bat sighting in brighton? like ever? i have never /ever/ heard anyone turn to me and go 'oh shit there's a bat!' like ever.

jensen: though bugs can fucking die. i do not have time for bugs -- wasps, bees, ants, whatever. they can kindly go. but, come on, it's winter. what bug is out and about during the cold?

Ivy: hadn't been intending to stick around the neighborhood for long, instead planning to keep moving on – find other locations in brighton that she didn't recall... a fun ritual. before she had the chance to move on, however, the girl across from her was speaking again – something about 'wanderers' and 'hoops.' furrowing her eyebrows, she replied with a simple repetition: "shoot a few hoops?" whether the other was asking her simply to accompany her or to /actually play basketball/ was beyond her, but she damn well hoped it wasn't the latter. she'd never been a fan or sports – playing or watching.

Jensen: moved the ball to her other arm to take out her small make-up compactor, eyeing herself in the small mirror. "that's what i said, isn't it?" she asks, her attention fixated on her reflection. "come on, it'll be fun." she tilts the mirror slightly to get a better angle of her face before snapping the compactor and placing it back into her pocket. "what are you doing right now that's so important?" a beat, "exactly, come on."
