Me, after having a couple of hard conversations that actually clear the air and even though I had to get way more vulnerable than I’m comfortable with, I’m actually feeling better about life in general and am kinda motivated to do some things I’ve been putting off: Heck, yeah, today’s a good day! Let’s do shit. Make some calls! Take care of some chores! Talk to friends! Do some art! Maybe leave the house?
Me, half an hour later, dropping my phone while gathering laundry and seeing I’ve somehow scrolled back a ways on a friend’s timeline and liked a post from forever ago, desperately unliking it, realizing that probably made it worse and now I look like I’m weirdly stalking my friend’s fb and immediately falling into a pit of believing that everyone thinks the worst of me and that I’m just a pathetic loser that sits around in a dark basement stalking people with actual lives and feeling that I will never be good enough or normal enough to live in regular society: Nevermind, I am deleting all social media and hiding under the covers and disassociating until 4am when hopefully i can fall asleep again.
