Jequan Curry, an 18 years old whose sole desire is to bring the youth and young adults of this generation closer to Christ; Through the ministry of music, preaching, praying, counseling and much more. Born January 21, 1994, in Trotwood, OH to the proud parents of Paul and Alicia Curry, his parents trained him in the way he should go (Christ, Proverbs 22:6). Jequan started his journey with the Lord at a very young fragile age of 6. He developed a steady and strong foundation at Faith Temple Pentecostal Church of God, Inc, under Bishop Eugene Ringer for 16 years. Later joining the membership at New Destiny under the second generation of Bishop Eugene Ringer, Bishop Alfred Ringer. At New Destiny Jequan is the organist, and in training to become the President of the youth department, age ranging from the sweet gentle ages of 4 to the semi-seasoned youthful adult of 22.Colliding his ministry called Escape Route, also know as ER, with the youth department. Giving an "Escape" to the youth from the world, media, and society and showing them a new "Route" of living for Christ. Also teaching those who want to develop a relationship with God, but don't know how to do so and still be true to themselves. Jequan shows his peers that the youth does have an identity and it does not have to conform to what the world shows on television. Jequan is not only a young talented preacher with a mind set to capture the youth for Christ but also a talented musician. He is gifted in playing multiple instruments such as the organ, piano, guitar and drums. Despite Jequan age of 18 he is astonishingly wise; He is a firm believer in the life style of Holiness and obedience. He has learned to obey the voice of God and adhere to what thus says the LORD. Having the knowledge that this journey is not easy; Jequan understands the battles and tribulations that young people go through. He is able to relate to the realities of the challenges youth and young adults go through on a daily basis. Jequan is currently in college, at Wright State University active in the STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), all while pursing a dual major in Psychology and Architect engineering. Also, producing a company called Perfectionist Design. Jequan mission is to reach the hearts of young people to do simply the will of God!
