i think emily was the entire highlight of the revival. her whole “bullshit” tirade was so, so good. i would’ve loved to have seen kelly bishop receive some sort of accolade for it.Â
i didn’t hate the revival the way a lot of people did. i don’t hate rory. and other than the stars hollow musical, i didn’t mind the revival overall.. i just found it incredibly depressing. even having gone back and watched it again, it just makes me really really sad.
this may be an unpopular opinion, but it’s been a really weird year writing-wise. lots of hits and misses.
my top sketch of the season is horace. i watched it again earlier today and goddammit it is still funny.
