Any tips on gaining weight, because I have been trying to gain weight, but nothing is really working for me can you help?
Breaking a fast metabolism is very challenging, I struggled for a long time with this, I would recommend seeing what you are eating throughout the day and increasing it, eating when you are full etc, it will be challenging. I ate huge bowls of ice cream, pizza, and chicken daily to break mine. Do whatās best for your situation though. Living with others while trying to gain is even harder as well if that is a issue for you like it is me. I was putting my gain on pause in some moments because of that, but anyways, here are the steps I would takeā¦
- evaluate your situation (ie: living with others, mental health, do you have the funds/place to eat alone)
- see your eating habits (ie: do you snack all day or stuff yourself with huge meals)
-DO NOT calorie count!!! (I know other gainers will tell you to do this, but me personally, all that causes is E.D.s and mental illnesses to erupt. I did that in the middle of my journey and it really set me back that progressed me forward)
- Take your time!! (This is a journey, NOT an overnight thing, your body/mind needs to adjust)
-Donāt weigh yourself daily!! (I barely ever weigh myself, because all it does is depress me or makes me happy that is it, no in between, have a day on your calendar in which you weigh yourself, like the 15th of every month or the 7th. It is way better that way!
-Body weight changes!!! (In the morning you weigh less, than the middle of the day. Body weight fluctuates constantly!! DONāT STRESS ABOUT NUMBERS!)ļæ¼
-HAVE FUN WITH GAINING!! (This is fun, with us it is supposed to be fun, not stressful! Donāt stress about not hitting goals or numbers right away! Itās an experience, in which everyoneās different!)
