I had a vision of this collage while I was watching an episode of the podcast "Wild geese" and the host mentioned this quote. I found an envelope and then this picture on a magazine and I loved the contrast ❤️

"Love is a long conversation"

Something that came up to my mind after reading a tweet with a Nietzsche quote about marriage as a long conversation. Probably I see love in general as that. Or more like an endless one. I drew my mom's favourite cup with coffee, and mine filled with a matcha latte, honoring the long conversations we have had along the way.

Hope for the best, expect the worst ✶ my first ever digital illustration inspired by a quote someone I like said, and my pretty candlestick. Creating this made me think of me as a middle schooler, using paint on my touchscreen desk computer. It feels so refreshing to do something new for the first time.

I remember I created this collage on my first ever collage class right after calling off my engagement. Later on I realized that changing was absolutely necessary afterwards and in this collage piece I could realize the hand, very similar to my real hand, was not wearing an engagement ring, just like me 🧡

Something that came up right after daring myself to experience displeasure as a part of my therapy process. It includes a frame from Fashion Neurosis, Bella Freud’s podcast, which I brought to my therapist, obviously. Insights from my therapist: “misbehaving is pretty” and “not being perfect is chic”. As well as lyrics from a song my former English teacher sent to me which I close this Gestalt with, by now.
