Only influencers have interviewed the BND team, and there are no real critics, a huge difference compared to odyssey. what a load of crap. At least Odyssey got it right; I’d hope for the same with BND, but... I don't know 🤷🏼‍♂️

Marvel is def more about getting the exposure and hype in any way they can, while it seems like Nolan just wanted to discuss the craft

I know first reactions tend to be more positive so we really have to wait for the real critics, and no, I’m not talking about the critics that some of your anons seem to reference, many of who cater directly to film twitter 😒 I’m talking about the ones who have absolutely no agenda and don’t hashtag their sh*t with #filmtwitter. Anyways… I’m so curious how BND will be received considering it seems to take a big swing.

First reactions are usually full of influencers that act like critics so I agree that I would wait past just that. I wish everyone would do what Nolan did in barring influencers from doing that and only letting in critics first. Just look at how accurate the first reactions were from them, there weren’t many haters amongst them.

I worry about BND being stuffed with a bit too much for it to handle in just one movie, but maybe it just seems that way with how they wanna only show certain things while also trying to show the flashiest stuff for promo. Other than that I’m pretty and excited and confident it will be good

To be honest, I wouldn't mind if this were his last Spider-Man movie. Aside from that, he has plenty of opportunities to work with other actors and actresses; in fact, the odyssey press tour has been my favorite of his. In response to the previous anon: nobody wants to follow a businessman, we’re all here for tom the actor. And if, out of 100 people, 90 like him (even if 10 don't), that’s all the more reason for him to keep doing what he’s doing. He's wonderful as sn actor and let's not forget that the majority of critics praised his performance.

I wouldn’t mind if it were his last either, I certainly don’t care as much as I used to when it comes to marvel, but there is a part of me that still loves the character and would love to see the wide array of other spider-man characters and villians that haven’t been done yet.

I hate Spider-Man and everything that character has done to Tom's image.

I wouldn’t go that far, he almost quit trying to be an actor before Spider-man. And the level of exposure the character brings is something he’s done great things with.

You sent this just as I was wondering to myself where that person came from when I didn’t tag any of my asks as anything other than “anon ask” so there must be people eagle-eyeing my account and swooping in for the kill if I say anything they think is even slightly out of line.

I’ll say this right now, I don’t hate Zendaya, I watched her on Shake it Up when I was a kid and when she came back to my attention with spider-man I drew artwork of her several times over the years. I even sent a gift to tom of her and him that a brothers trust winner gave him at one of their events. When people bring her up within discussions in my asks, I often avoid it because her fans are so intense and seemingly waiting to nitpick what I say about her to find something bad and make it a whole thing. I don’t want fighting on my account. I welcome healthy criticism and discussion (without racism or sexism, and about everyone, including tom too), but I don’t want to breed discourse. I try to focus on the positives and give benefit of the doubt when making my posts, but I don’t put any celebrity on a pedestal. I like to explore the “why” behind everything and everyone. And this is a Tom dedicated account so I’ll mainly have discussions about him, and I’ve had recent discussions about where the hateful agenda towards him comes from, and z’s fans are apart of that. Whenever I answer things, I feel like I give room for other possibilities after stating what I’ve observed.

I welcome discussion, but I don’t welcome rudeness or attacking. I don’t claim to be right over everyone, I only give my opinion based on observations I have made, and even with that I do not see absolutely everything.

Well, Amy Pascal said she wanted to make Spider-Man Forever, with Tom, so I highly doubt this is his last movie. It would be even more epic if one of his friends died; it would break Peter even more, and that would be awesome.

I don’t always believe everything Amy says because she kinda says all kinds of shit, and i feel like if their main goal of the movie is asking for help from your friends and not isolating yourself, would killing one of those friends really work for the narrative?

Z stans are not ‘threatened’ by Tom, what nonsense. They just don’t like him or their relationship, it’s not a crime. Same thing as the Tom fans who exist that don’t like Z or TZ’s relationship, which you all love to conveniently ignore.

Tom and Zendaya occupy completely different lanes. They’re not competing for the same roles. He will always have more opportunities cause he’s male and white but Z has carved a great lane for herself. Nobody is threatened when Z is killing it and has an amazing career. Find another narrative lol you guys are ridiculous.

I love Tom as an actor, but will I be judged if I say I don't really care anymore? I feel like Spider-Man cursed Tom's career, and there's no turning back. Since The Odyssey came out, so many lame videos have popped up claiming he's nothing more than Spider-Man and can't play other roles. I've blocked quite a few users because of that kind of content. Honestly, it's more satisfying to see him promoting BERO than any other project; as far as I'm concerned, he could just become a businessman, and we'd finally have some peace.

I guess everyone has different reasoning of following someone’s career, but as a fan of an actor I would want to see the actor act, and his talent is too good to go to waste. I’m a lover of movies and the arts so if he became solely a businessman I’d hope he’s happy but would likely lose interest in following him, even within the years of his long break I’d moved on to discuss other things because what is there to talk about as a fan with a businessman? I love his story and reasoning behind doing it but I never drank beer, and don’t have interest in drinking anything like it, so there’s nothing much for me to say about it lmfao.

There’s people within the industry who love tom and will continue to want to create more projects with him. It’s annoying that people won’t let them release with any peace, but I don’t care about what others have to say because I love his work and enjoy it every time I see it and I would never want to stop seeing it, my main goal in squashing their agenda is literally because I don’t want them to convince him to quit like they seemingly almost did.
