🍁🍂 Autumn walks in Kreuzburg (at Kreuzberg, Berlin, Germany)

A personal travel typography project, aimed to improve my skills and understandings on letterforms and typefaces. This whole journey for me - my creative sabbatical - I aim to soak up all that I can and learn along my way. Self initiated projects are a large component to this adventure - a safe arena for me to test and defy my design ethics and ideas. I've done a whole heap of these typography pieces, but they're not ready to be seen yet. There'll be lots to come though! Each one signifying something important to me from the cities I've visited so far... something that helped me along my journey to creatively exploring and changing. First up.... Neukölln. Where I've spent my first 2 weeks in Berlin. A stepping stone into my new life here. Where I roamed amongst streets littered with autumn colored leafs, sat at cafes surrounded by children's laughter, sunshine, and focused on my purpose and goals in Berlin. Customized type, and a pattern which for me resembles the colours and sounds I experienced in this quant little Berlin neighborhood. Berlin already has me (as I knew it would) - hook line and sinker (at Neukölln, Berlin, Germany)

💋 I've been off the radar so much this last year sorting out life, I haven't taken much of a chance to draw and paint.... No wonder I'm a tad lost! Sometimes I can forget how much joy creating can give me. I only need to get amongst it again to feel purpose and fulfilment. I'm pulling apart my studio to get some self inspiration and figure out my next life moves. Don't forget to stay inspired and be creative my dear friends! 💋
