London’s my favorite place on the planet and the reason for that is its fantastic diversity. I suppose I look at people and think about the journeys that their parents may have made to get them here. I think about the journey my grandparents made - my grandparents are immigrants from Spain and Holland, so it’s not quite the same, but I think about what pushed them out of their countries and how fortunate I am to grow up here and to not take that for granted.

TUTORIAL: for how i made the sparkle overlay fade out / only touch part of the picture 

if you want to know how i made the overlay only visible on part of the image as well as the faded effect it has and not just a harsh border, continue reading below. i’m using photoshop cc for this but it works well other versions im sure! it’s super easy i promise. ♥
