I used to sometimes watch this YouTube channel where a pair of Catholic friars did reaction video content to like movies or tv shows or TikTok’s and I remember one ‘trope’ they felt annoyed by was that of the sexually-tempted-priest who constantly felt tempted to break his vows of celibacy and they were like “it’s not really that hard guys and it’s kinda weird to us that media keeps acting like it is”. Anyway one day I found out the channel was deleted and after digging a little it turns out that was because one of the priests involved was removed from public ministry after his diocese received credible reports of sexual misconduct

Hey so I know we All Know This but I will NEVER be over a character being feverish and delirious and making No sense. I will never be over a glittery-eyed, shivering, distressed character weakly gripping another's arm and asking them questions they don't know the answer to, and probably don't mean anything at all. I will never be over characters calling out for people either long gone or right next to them, but unrecognizable in their delirium. I will never be over a character crying in frustration and fear over something in their head they can't explain to whoever is helping them, and all they can do in return is stroke their hair and shush them gently.

so last year during a period of intense suicidal depression i made this necklace that i always wear, right, and the thing is it's genuinely brought me a lot of comfort and relief and i've developed a strong sentimental attachment to it, to the point that i can inarguably state that it's had a net positive effect on my mental wellbeing. however i did now just have to stop to almost throw up laughing because i realised that i've succumbed to the amulet.

Well, in finnish, the word for moth is "yökkönen", from "yö" (night), the suffix "-kko/kkö" which has many purposes but one of them is to change any word into "person involved with doing something with the root word", and the dininutive "-nen". So the name of moth is "little night creature".
But coming back to the diminutive meme, the existence of yökkönen would imply the existence of yökkö, the big (or at least medium-sized, or non-small) night creature. Through a happenstance completely unrelated to moths or other insects, "yökkö" is the finnish vernacular word for a night shift nurse.
Lies. Finnish night shift nurses are all creatures of the night. Check them for the five scratch marks. You WILL find them.
