spent half an hour sitting on a park bench with my platonic crush, giggling, kicking my feet, explaining the plot of my Star Wars fanfiction, and YOU GUYS SHE WAS RIVETED
if I had a nickel for every time Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote a hit musical that was based on a book, and his musical had scene at a party where everyone was having fun until the uninvited social outcast character (who other characters specifically did not want there) showed up and killed the mood, and that a social outcast was actually the main character, and they had a beautiful solo song with a lot of night/day imagery where they ask for a new life where they can have the happiness they were denied before, and then at the end of the play, a girl in white has the courage to reach out to them with a single gesture of compassion and acceptance, I would have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice
