I need to vent. While people were all caught up in the shipping wars, they seemed to have missed a massive message for TWD, that said being in an abusive relationship is like trying to survive in a zombie apocolypse. That is such a powerful message and it makes me sad that so many seem to be overlooking that because of shipping stuff. I love Jessick but even if I didn't, I'd be mad about the missed message.

I do agree with you. It's a shame people take the whole 'shipping who with who' thing so seriously instead of actually enjoying the show. But I feel everyone is too stubborn at this point to stop it.

It's terrible that Alexandra Breckenridge is getting hate for her character and because of 'Jessick'. People that are sending her hate should realize that Alexandra and Jessie are two completely different people. Jessie is a fictional character while Alexandra isn't. I'm a Jessick as well as a Richonne shipper but my god Alexandra literally does not deserve hate! She's an amazing actress and even Andrew loves working with her! Richonne shippers, please tone down your hate! Love your blog btw! :)

Alex is pretty much  a goddess to me, she’s a brilliant actress and not to mention absolutely gorgeous. She doesn’t deserve anti Jessickers coming at her like wild fire, she’s so sweet and has done clearly nothing wrong. I hope people realise that soon.

I really need to say this because this have been something that have irk me for so long about people hating on rick and jessie. People keep going off about how rick said he wouldn't do that for everyone else and how that it was dumb for them to have that said, what people do not understand is that in him telling Jessie that. Rick made it feel special to her, abuse victims have a constant feeling of never being loved more then by the one whom hurt them so in him telling her that it was meaningful

Exactly, he made her feel loved and special, which she probably doesn’t feel much of.

i'm not sure if i "fully" ship rick and jessie together (i honestly don't ship anything in the walking dead) but i don't mind their interactions since it's kinda cute. i really hope they develop her character a little more and give her screen time outside of just rick. to be honest, the scene during the finale where she says "don't turn around rick. you were right" it made me like them more. the scene was brilliantly filmed and it had a lot of emotion that i hope they will show more of.

I’m glad you’re considering the ship instead of fully hating it like others :) That scene was quite sweet. Buut yeah, I hope Jessie is able to develop a lot more soon.

The main reason why I don't like the idea of them together is honestly because of how one-dimensional Jessie is. I don't know what she's like in the comics, but the only scenes of her are the ones she has with Rick. I'd love to see her interact with other's in the group to see more of her personality. Maybe then I can get behind it. However, as someone who semi-ships Richonne, I want to apologize for how rude some people are to you because of an OTP !! Lol best of luck with your ship!

I can see where you’re coming from. In the case that they do go differently from the comics then I think we will see more of Jessie interacting with other characters (which I hope to see) And thank you very much that’s kind of you!

i know its not your blog's focus but im curious as to what your opinions on Enid are? Is she a Wolf? Is she actually dating Ron?Where does she lie in the mix? I can't figure it out.

Well she’s definitely not a wolf, i know it’s a show about zombies but c’mon lets be a little bit realistic here. And honestly I don’t know anything about Enid, I don’t really notice her much.
