Wild Horses
âUnfortunately,â Beau teased with his typical grin. Even if she wasnât family he always acted that way it just made it much more easy when Jessie was his cousin. He could steady the horse making sure the horse was fully set before he gently tapped his foot in the horses side to get him going. âGod dammit,â he laughed briefly, shaking his head, âHere I am acting like the coffee shoppe is opening at like 9AM or somethinâ. Iâve really been slacking on my comebacks.â Beau narrowed his eyes teasingly for the sense of dramatics, âWell next time you donât call me Iâm gonna be real upset with you. Weâre family, after all.â
âOh shut up!â she laughed, shaking her head as she got the horse situated in a slow walk beside Beau and his horse. She truly loved the relationship that she had with Beau, it was beyond just cousins, he was like a brother and she wouldnât have it any other way. Even though he was only a year older than her, she still would try to kick him in the ass if needed. âIâm usually up early because you know, Iâm kinda athletic and go running every morning before the sun comes up.â she spoke softly. âIâll be sure to call you as soon as I see someone come in and I help them.â
