Sadie blinked slowly, she was a little wary from all the yelling but as the other girl seemed to calm a little as she was now sitting down it seemed safe enough. Carefully she moved though, a small frown on her face, “Is your hand okay?” Her voice was soft as she spoke, honestly she was a little worried - that had looked like it hurt.
“No.” Jessie shook her head, squeezing her eyes shut. “It hurts.”
“Leave me alone!” Jessie shouted, turning and punching the wall beside her. God, they’d just kept going and going and going. She was getting angrier and angrier. “Ugh...” Not too long after that, she sank to the floor, cradling her hand. “Shit...” Jessie muttered.

“Well….alright then,” he huffed with a shrug and rose to his feet. “I guess I’ll leave ya to your boredom then. Cos I know I can’t handle bein’ this bored.”
“Alright...” Jessie wasn’t going to argue or anything. She wasn’t having a good day and would being alone make her feel better? She didn’t think so but neither did being around somebody. “Hope you find something.” Some people just couldn’t be... still. It’s all Jessie had ever been.. until she hadn’t.
The brunette walked down the hall and heard the group of boys and turned to walk the other way. She stopped half way down the hall and realized she had to go down that dreaded hallway. She sighed and turned back around and headed down the hall keeping her head down and trying not to make eye contact with the group - they weren’t exactly nice to her, ever. She was so close to the finish line when one of the tripped her and laughed fake apologizing and calling her a ghost.
“Are you alright?” Jessie asked, moving to stand up and set her sketchbook to the side so she could go help the brunette stand up.

“Well what are the points for?” he asked before pouting when she said she didn’t want to do anything. “But ya said ya were bored? Are ya just okay that y’all are bored?”
“I’m just... used to it. I guess.” Jessie said, giving him a shrug. She really didn’t know and she didn’t feel comfortable here.

“Well I’m pretty impressive as an overall rule,” he chuckled, licking his lips as he went back over and sat next to her. “Alright, so no board games. Then what do ya wanna do?”
Jessie managed a little chuckle at that. “Well, that gives you some points so I believe you.” she shrugged. “I don’t know. I kinda don’t want to do anything.”
The blonde skipped down the hall looking for someone to play with her. She cocked her head finding someone close by and ran up to them “hi, will you play with me?” she asked. That wasn’t creepy sounding at all.
Jessie looked up and shook her head. “Oh, um. I don’t think so.” She shrugged. “I don’t like games.”

“I dunno, I mean, there’s probably boring board games around here. We could always play like truth or dare or somethin’.” As she questioned his acrobatics a large smile stretched across his face. Without a word he, jumped up onto the nearby activity table into a handstand. After a moment he got back to his feet, jumping up into a flip off the surface into the air and landed on his feet with a big ‘tada’ finish.
Jessie shrugged. “Board games are pretty aptly named.” She said, hating them. She never won and it didn’t add more points with her parents. She sat as he got up, watching him. “Okay. I’ll admit. That was kinda impressive.”

“Well bored is somethin I can work with!” He exclaimed excitedly, bouncing on the couch in place. “Alright so do ya like games? Or we could go outside and I could show ya all my acrobatic tricks? Or we could go find someone to pester til they explode!?”

“Well, I am.” She said quietly, sighing as she moved to stand up so she could go sit on the other side of the room.

“Wow,” he mouthed mostly to himself, “it’s like pullin teeth with this girl.” He didn’t like that. He didn’t like not having her immediate and undivided attention. And having to work for it was making him feel like he was crawling out of his skin. “Well I came in here lookin for somethin to do. When I stumbled upon y’all and ya seem so down and bored.”

Jessie was a hard one to crack and Tara didn’t know how she felt having her on her books. She was overtired and overworked. “Everything alright?” She asked, noting the girl’s expression when she walked in.
“Sure.” Jessie looked over again, uninterested. “Everything’s fine.”

Tic stared at her a moment, “Quite the talker ain’t ya?” he chuckled, mostly to himself. “So whatcha doin’ in here?”
Jessie rolled her eyes, not very impressed by the fact he was pressing the conversation. “Just sitting.” A long pause. “You?”

“You’re welcome, anytime” he smiled and turned to leave the room “You’re sure you’re good right?”
Jessie nodded, managing a little smile. It was forced though. “Yes. Yeah, I’m fine. All good.” Not good. She had no one.

Channing was surprised at the question but he just chuckled, “Nope, just checking on everything, making sure everything’s copacetic…” he turned to look at her finally and smiled a little now that he was satisfied that the room was secured, “You need something?” he asked, genuinely curious why she looked so confused. Confused? Sad? Angry? Fucked if he could tell the difference sometimes and right now with Jessie, he wasn’t sure what he was facing.
“What does that mean?” Jessie wondered, having never heard anybody use the word copacetic before, it sounded foreign to her. She looked at him for another second and then shook her head. “No, I’m fine. Thank you. I’m just waiting.”

“Alright well, I’m Derek. I’m a therapist here but I don’t think anyone around here thinks of me like that, so if you ever need to talk - without judgement- I’m literally next door.” she said trying to read her.
Jessie wasn’t sure what she would say. She was tired of talking. She had to talk a lot it seemed and she hadn’t done a whole lot of that yet. What did they think would happen by shutting her in here? Sure, it was better than ending up in serious trouble for hurting him like that but... he would forgive her, he would. “Right... sure, thank you. Maybe.”

It was Channing’s job to know who was in his institute. It was imperative he knew who wouldn’t be an issue and who could potentially cause problems. If he didn’t know what a patient was dealing with it was a liability and he wouldn’t stand for that. When he entered the rec room, he noticed a girl on the couch and she looked almost excited to see him until she realized they hadn’t met. He recognized her as one of the new patients, the psycho stalker chick that had tried to brain the object of her obsessive affections. Threat level: minimal. “Mornin’…” he said as he entered the room to do the normal sweep of the area, he didn’t really care about social graces but his mama taught him well enough to be the most basic level of polite with most people… though apparently the smile that ought to have gone with the greeting was misplaced.
“Hello.” Jessie managed to say in return as he spoke, though she didn’t look up at him again right away. What was the point when he wasn’t of any interest to her? Jessie was frustrated. Taunted with thoughts like why didn’t he love her and of course he’ll forgive me but when will he visit? It was a strange place, her brain, but Jessie didn’t ever question it. She’d been delusional and obsessed for a long time now. Constantly craving affection she’d never get. “Did you want something?”
