Pokemon Y Journal

I thought I should start putting my journal entries here for my Pokemon Y playthrough. I am tediously going through the Kalos region so I can catch anything that is carried over to Legends Z-A. I am also doing a catch challenge as I go - catching every new encounter before I progress. See all the posts here!

The journal I have set up has three sections: encounters, pokedex, and daily journal entries. The encounters help me keep track of what I can find in every route, and I have highlighted new encounters I need to get before progressing.

The pokedex is being filled in as I catch pokemon. I rarely pay attention to pokedex entries for some reason, so this is a way to appreciate that aspect of the game!

The daily journal entries will have a summary of what I do while playing, as well as some doodles. When I first started, the days correlated to real-life days, but have since changed it to what I feel like I would accomplish in an in-game day. Some days I don't get as much time to play as I would like (and some days I spend just getting rare encounters), so I've started combining those days together.

This will be the third entry in my game journal, and will certainly be the most thorough, as pokemon is my #1 game franchise, of course. I'll start rolling out journal entries here as I play!
