If this isn’t too much for a drawing suggestion maybe Jessie being motherly towards Ash? Like the more time she spends dating Delia the more some maternal instincts kick in, much to her chagrin and Delia’s delight. (Ash is obviously annoyed by it at first but then slowly begins to appreciate it)

characters whose guilt defines them. characters whose guilt eats them alive until they turn on themselves become their own undoing, a snake sinking its fangs into its own tail and choking on its venom in an attempt to satisfy its senseless hunger for self-flagellation. characters who desperately pile their sins higher and higher - only growing more destructive and unhinged as time passes and the consequences sufficient to prevent them from doing worse fail to arise until they can't even help themselves - in the hope that they might find your breaking point where your eyes harden and your voice goes flat and you tell them to get out of your sight and never darken your door again. characters who would rather stick around like a knife in a wound than let you move on, because they can't move past it themselves. characters for whom forgiveness is the worst possible thing you could offer them; a condemnation, a death sentence. characters who would rather have your fear and hatred than your love and faith in their ability to still be the better man (to still walk back from the brink when they've already crossed the event horizon), or even your acceptance, or, worst of all, your pity. characters who betray you to spare you the pain of choosing to care for them. characters who bite the hand you hold out to pull them up with. characters who look into the eyes of a bad dog, awful and afraid and so terribly alone, and see a mirror.
