What I love about A League of Their Own is that they depict all kinds of queer relationships, not just romantic, but platonic, familial, and more. We have the inseparable found family relationship of Jo and Greta, best friends for LIFE Max and Clance, Jess and Lupe as older sister figures for Esti, Maxine's complicated relationship with her parents and uncle, whatever Jess and Lupe have going on (are they friends? Lovers? Secret third thing? Who knows). And then on top of that all our lesbian couples!
