I've had this ready to go for the past couple hours but waited until after midnight so it can be my Sunday update post xD Speaking of posts, check out the latest update here! I'll be spending the next month focusing on Artfight. Might do some script writing here and there, but all my art efforts are going towards the battle! If you haven't already, you should totally fill out my hitlist! I yearn to draw yanderes and lots of fun expressions this year

Now, something I must confess about this update is that its the one that makes me the most nervous. Even back when I was first outlining the story, I was worried about what people might think of the direction it would go in. However I'm hoping it won't put people off too much since I've put a lot of hints in, and some people have even figured out a part of it So hopefully my worries are unfounded and people like the day! :D And now... I should probably go to bed xD Have fun!

HIII! So like how would Alois react if mc tried to treat him like an actual plant? Like trying to water him with a hose/spray bottle, constantly to pushing him into the sunlight or like even trying to figure out how to give him fertilizer or pruning his petals/leafs? (Low-key giving spa day vibes..) (I find the idea of this like REALLY funny 😆)

Majority of Alois' would be a smidge baffled, but ultimately be pretty happy to receive your attention. It would probably help him out too! Blue would be the happiest about it. You care for him, you really care for him! Yellow might be a bit cheeky and spray some water back at you :D Its likely the third stage would be a lot healthier with so much care! Good luck trying to prune him though, his leaves, petals and thorns regrow almost immediately upon removal :0

Hmmmm what would be his favourite? Strawberry was the first thing that came to mind when I saw this in the inbox, but I'm not sure There's a hilarious temptation to say its vanilla because of how vanilla his tastes in general are I also think he'd like mint I hadn't expected a question about ice cream flavours to make me think this much xD

And yes I think he could totally make an affogato [I had to google what that is I dont know anything about foods/drinks xD] its probably one of the only kinds of 'foods' he could make well

This week my darn neurodivergent mind demanded I work on this idea instead of my actual main project So the video above is the result of my efforts, pay no mind to the various placeholders lol Let me tell you, I'd forgotten just how annoying RPG Maker can be -_- Renpy has me spoiled for versatile and SIMPLE it is Can't deny, part of me wants to turn the idea into a visual novel in renpy because it'd be so much less annoying xD I do have some ideas on how to do that ;3 I'm posting this update early so I can focus on getting back to writing YLTS today 💪

HIIII! So like.. how would pre infected Alois react to infect mc? OH! OR OR how would infected Alois(s) react to a pre everything (before being hired by the company/getting infected) mc that is scared of infected Alois(s)? So like mc knows nothing about this super sus company or about infected/mutated people and it's mc's and his first meeting since his infection. (idk how to word the question properly 😅)

Oooo interesting, I've had asks about MC's and Alois' roles being switched, but not a preinfected Alois to an infected MC He'd take notice of your behaviour changes quite quickly, and would keep a closer eye on you. The moment you show physical changes he'd want you to go to the hospital At that point the facility would intervene before he could take you there- Though there's a chance you could evade them, and it would result in the knowledge of the infection being exposed to the public and... Well it would lead down a spiral of government involvement and all that, I don't think I need to expand much further :p

As for MC meeting an infected Alois before the facility steps in...

This could actually be canon! xD I like to think that when Alois first discovered his infection, he was avoiding the MC to avoid spreading it to them

if we (the mc) was ever struggling to write something — whether that something be a poem, song, short story, part of a book etc — would alois ever attempt to help us? would he ever ask us about it or want to read it over for us?

i got this idea bc im currently making a discord server and im CONSTANTLY asking my boyfriend to read over the things i wrote for it XD

He'd try his best, but because of how much he loves you, he'd love basically everything you'd make... So he'd make a pretty poor critic for the most part. Pink would see what you make as perfect, and Blue wouldn't want to hurt your feelings if what you're making isn't good so would overly praise you I think only Yellow would be able to give you proper criticism, and even then he'd be hesitant

When it comes to giving ideas, it'll depend on the genre. He'd be best at helping with anything romance related, even if his writing is a bit stiff.

At the very least you can expect Alois to gush over your work, so that's something!

Hello! Seeing that question about attacking Alois what a juicy question yay made me curious about this too...

How would he react if MC attacked him in a playful way? Like a tickle attack, or just poking him repeatedly to mess with him??

Fun fact there was going to be a scene where you end up in a 'poking battle' with Blue, but I cut it out because the tone didn't fit the situation

He'd be pretty happy to be on the receiving end of a playful attack, it'd make him think all is well and good. Domestic bliss! I can see him returning the 'attack' too. I also think Yellow would do this to you on occasion :D

And then there's one yet to be revealed Alois who would do the most fucked up things I seriously cannot wait to write him

S = Stamina They could all last a while, with Pink having the most stamina and Blue the least. And yet it would be Blue who would want to keep going the longest, with how desperate he is for you to love him.

Most Alois' wouldn't tease intentionally- Yellow would. He would drags things out and make you beg.

Hellooo! So like with the most recent day and the whole asking Alois for salad in a very strange way made me question how Alois would react if we just randomly attack him (cause ya know.. in a way Alois is a salad) Also would he react different depending on if we are attacking him willing/unwilling? (Sorry if this question is in spoiler territory.)

Oh my how juicy just like him

Being attacked out of nowhere by you will be pretty alarming, his priority will be to stop you without hurting you. Pink could do this easily without breaking a sweat, he'd grab and hold you tightly with those muscles of his. He won't let you go until you've calmed down. Yellow could also restrain you, but the random placement of his thorns would make it difficult to do so without hurting you, so he'd try to calm you down first. If he can't though, he'll decide he'll just have to risk hurting you by restraining you with his vines. Blue would feel the most hurt, and be the most panicked. You get a glimpse of something like this in day 5, though he was the one who started it there. It'll probably play out similar to that scene, where he'll just try and grab you to stop you. He's the one you're most likely to overpower and escape from with enough effort though. I don't really let that happen in the game for the sake of not derailing too much lol

If you attacked him willingly he'll feel hurt by your actions, varying on the versions. Pink will be confused, don't you love him? Why would you want to hurt him? He might twist his thoughts to that you were testing him, or someone made you do that. Yellow will feel... Tired, honestly. He's tried a lot, and still can't figure out what it is you want from him. He really won't know what he should do next, won't know what kind of man he needs to be for you to love him. Blue will sink deeper into despair. You really hate him that much...? Or... Maybe he was going about it all wrong. Maybe kind and loving isn't what you want. Maybe you want something darker? He can do that. Black rose Alois would show up sooner as a result of his thoughts. If he's able to figure out you did it unwillingly though, he'll feel concerned, and anger at whatever it is that made you do that. How dare they try to put a wedge between you? He'll throttle the culprit. But of course, if its the infection that caused the attack, he'll be worried and anxious. He doesn't have the ability to make that stop. Best he could do is to pull out his leaves in order to keep you fed since those grow back quickly enough.

Hello! The flower on top of Alois's head is so cute!🌹 I'd love to smell it and find out what it smells like — would he let me?

And I'm also curious how he'd react if MC just asked him to lean down, and then smelled the flower without any warning!

Alois would be happy to let you smell his rose[s] any time! Most of them anyways I think the roses would smell how they look too. Pink's would be sickeningly sweet, a near suffocating aroma Blue's would have a hint of decay to it White's would be pretty normal, Yellow's may also alternate between Pink and Blue's or be normal like White's... Not really sure to be honest! Alois would be surprised at first, but pretty happy about it Yellow would say you could just ask him any time if you want to smell his rose[s] Pink may pluck the roses from his head to give to you since they would grow back again- You'll end up with a whole bouquet! Blue will feel a bit embarrassed and ask if he smells okay? If you say yes he'll be happy, if not however, he'll try and keep his rose away from you from then on. You may notice the rose wilt even more.

Hiiiiii! I was wondering how the different versions of Alois would react to mc being more obsessed/clingy with a doll than to him. Like the mc would rather cuddle, hold, walk around with the doll rather than him.. (I suspect at least one of them would trash/break it.. not going to point fingers.. *cough* pink *cough*) (Im asking because i have a chucky doll that I might or might not bring everywhere with me.. ;-;)

His reaction will depend on what kind of doll it is!

If its like an animal, he'll find it very cute. Pink especially would find it quite adorable, you'll probably get infantilised a bit. Blue might get a bit pouty after a while and try guilt tripping you.

If it looks like a generic person, or some kind of fictional character, he'll get jealous after a while. Blue would try hiding it, Yellow would likely use it as leverage against you. If it looks like a real person he knows about? Say goodbye to it, he won't let you keep it. If you get sad he'll try and make it up to you by getting you some other animal dolls instead, cats especially.

Her body parts follow her movements as though they aren't separated! She finds it very strange, as she's able to touch the parts that are 'severed'.

Okay, i was wondering how would the infected/mutated? smell like after phase 2 and at3? Do they retain part of their human body smell or does it fully change to whatever they're changing into?

Y'know I thought I addressed this in the game but checking the script I can't find anything like that, so either I removed it or its something that's brought up in a late date- Anyways to answer, it changes to what they're turning into- Or rather, the infected's perception of what they're turning into would smell like. This means Alois smells like roses despite not having a proper shower in so long, huzzah!

If doesn't yet know who Michael is, he's going to ask many demanding questions about him, pretty much like in the game. If he does... He'll still be asking questions, just different ones. He'll be asking why his name is in your head, why you're wondering how that man is doing, why you called him the name of another man

Not gonna lie I was taken off guard when I saw in my inbox, I'm still not entirely sure how to answer this xD Gollum is from Lord of the Rings, a series I don't know much about. I did play the Shadow of War games though and met him there, the impression I got about him was that he was pretty pathetic, able to sneak around though But Gollum wouldn't be able to do much to Alois, and if Alois can't fight him then I guess he could just ignore him to the best of his ability. He would find Gollum very annoying though
