In honor of it being kickinvember (not that I've been participating, but gotta take what you can), you guys get another swap! This time without a year-long absence!

Lovey Dovey is, who could guess, a Kickin and Bobby swap! You won't find anywhere more relaxing in town than her spa. She gets a lot of guys, gals and others stopping by to try an woo her, but turns them all down for some reason, wonder why? ( ͡• ͜ʖ ͡• )

It has been a WHILE since I've drawn anything Smiling Critters related, so I thought I'd dust off my old rendition of the swap au that I haven't drawn in, like, a year!

Phoodiephant, obviously Bubba swapped with Picky, was the first one I made bc I fell in love with the double pun I made for her name lol. The group's transfem queen of food

The next was my Picky swapped with Catnap; Horace Hogtired, who, once again, I was very proud of the pun off of hog-tied I made (●'◡'●) I didn't love the drawing I made of him a year ago, so I redid it

Then came Wally Caterwaul, my switch of Catnap and Hoppy who came about from me trying very hard to come up with a pun, but then remembering the word "caterwaul" and realizing it was perfect for the vibes I wanted for him

Lastly, after taking a break for a year ig, I tackled a Dogday and Kickin swap and had a blast after coming up with the idea that they are an Orthrus. Absolutely love the duality of one being suave and the other an airhead :P

Honestly forgot how much fun these were to draw, so maybe I should get around to drawing the other four, hopefully before another year passes XD

Just now realizing that I never actually posted this bc I got distracted towards the end of the year with other things! (´。＿。｀) SOOOOOOO, you all now get to see my smiling critters oc :)

Cupid is the younger step-brother of Bobby Bearhug! Their parents having gotten married when they were younger, Bobby and Cupid are very close. Cupid is likely one of the only critters that can match the lovable bear in sheer strength.

From schoolyard crushes that only want him to do their homework for them to blind dates only looking for a fling and even a few long-term relationships that go sour, Cupid can't seem to hold down anyone for himself but his natural charisma allows him to snag chances at love for others effortlessly. His sister's relationship with Hoppy Hopscotch being a product of his wingman prowess.

I haven't posted anything here in a HOT minute （*゜ー゜*）Did not mean for that, but things happen, so have a messy thing I made a while ago for the demon slayer au! I was initially gonna give him Sound Breathing since it kinda fit, but my weakness for jack-of-all-trades characters won out after I remembered that mixing breathing styles was a thing.

Small blurb of info down below :P

Kickin was raised in the Swordsmith Village since he was little right along with Bubba, he was expected to become a smith but never seemed to pick up the trade no matter how many teachers he had, many thinking that he's just not smart enough for it. This of course causes his confidence to plummet, especially when compared to Bubba, and puts on a cocky and overconfident mask to hide behind. He later joins the Demon Slayer Corps when Hoppy's grandfather brings her to the village to have his own sword repaired in order to train her and the two become fast friends. Kickin leaves the village with them after showing interest in becoming a swordsman, hoping that this may be something he can do.

What do you use to draw???? Trying to become an artist

I use the program Clip Studio Paint, although, it is a program you have to pay for, but it does have a free trial. If you're looking for something free, then I would recommend Sketchbook, it can be used on both desktop and tablet. There are also other free drawing programs like Krita which is very popular. Hope this helps! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Fun little tidbit! When I first started to be interested in the Smiling Critters side of the PPT fandom, @smilingcrittersthingig and their reborn critters au was one of the first things I had seen in the tag, doesn't help that I too suffer the 'Too Many AU Thoughts' sickness, so I thought that I'd put together a little sketch for them (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧

Gotta get out all the art I wanna do before the anxiety and lack of motivation catch back up!

Am I posting about another AU that came to me bc I started the new season of Demon Slayer? Yes! Do I regret anything? NO! I had the sudden urge to recreate a manga panel and have let the demons win （︶^︶）Didn't know where to take Catnap's clothing choices, so i just did something basic.

Also, I swear that I'm going to get around to drawing the other critters at some point, I just have brainrot :P

Bubba Bubbaphant finds himself falling through a void filled with a thousand doors after he discovers a strange item. He is now on a journey to get back home while meeting alternate versions of himself that help him on the way.

I don't know I just felt like testing my drawing powers to try out perspective. Once again I am reminded by my lack of skill. I might do more with this idk

Soooo, I may have had a thought for an AU (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

I've seen so many other smiling critter aus that I wanted to throw my metaphorical hat in the ring.

Generally, Catnap is a mortal along with most of the other critters, except Bobby who is Dogday's best angel friend. Dogday is the angel that created the sun that Bobby manages to convince to make a "mortal" body and take a vacation down to Earth to live a little as the mortals do. Of course, being an angel, Day doesn't know how to function in a pseudo-mortal body that requires food and water to sustain itself. Why does his body require food and water? Don't question it!

Enter Catnap who finds a cute guy at the end of a supermarket aisle and pretends to be checking out some cereal to not be obviously eyeing up the dog. Except, now he's just feeling a bit awkward as he realizes the dog has been staring at the same cereal box for a while and seems to be getting more distressed as time goes on. Plus, isn't it kinda weird that this guy is wearing just a t-shirt and jeans in the middle of winter? Should he just leave the strange critter to his spiral??

Of course he doesn't leave well enough alone and offers to help, even if he immediately questions leaving again when the dog tells him that he doesn't know what is edible and what isn't. Catnap incorrectly assumes that this must be some rich kid living on his own for the first time, I mean, what else could they be? Hilarity ensues.

Ya know, just some thoughts. Who knows if this will actually go anywhere :P
