your crude feelings are going to spoil this maiden's fair heart!
Was he in denial over the situation? Yes, yes he was.
It was obvious with the two of them linked together, sadly, so of course she could feel the feeling screaming into her veins. It was her worst fear answered, this guy was a complete sissy when it came to accepting shit. Honestly, why was he so upset? He was the lucky one after all, super lucky actually. He, unlike everyone else here, had the opportunity to be in Kaguraâs presence without gravelling for it. The Queen of Kabukicho was an important young lady after all, heâd just have to learn to understand that without being such a wimp.
But no, he was off in a bolt after muttering some incoherent sentences to himself. She had to admit, the guy was quick, and watching him run up the drain pipe with the feeling of disbelief washing over her, (from him, she presumed) she had to sigh. Why would he go up the building when he could just run inside the building, why would he waste that energy? Her new partner was an idiot too. She was going to have to figure out if there was a partner exchange center somewhere, maybe she could get a better functioning one. One that didnât run away when he was in shock, one that didnât have such dirty thoughts, thatâd be nice.
Alas, he was still her partner and having him in that mindset would just depress her, so she quickly hopped up the drainpipe in record speed and threw one arm behind her back before pointing her umbrella at him with the other once they were both at the top of the building. Shaking her head, Kagura frowned a little before twirling the umbrella around a little. âAfro Man, why would I lie to you? Do you think that lying to random men with afros is something someone like me would like to do, aru? Do you think that Iâm so cruel, Afro Man? Youâre so mean, Iâm just a sweet little girl. I wouldnât lie, I have the pure soul of a saint, aru.â
And with that said, she touched her umbrella to the top of his head and smiled widely, nodding for one moment as if agreeing with a thought she just had. âLike I told you before, you thinking all this gross stuff is bad for my health, I could die a young lady and never experience the bustle and action of grown-up life, aru. Youâd make my father cry, you know? He wouldnât be happy if his precious daughter died because of some guy with an afro, aru. That said, if you keep thinking stuff like that, Iâm just going to have to hit you until you stop. An excellent plan, huh, I thought so too.â
So, with introductory threats out of the way, Kagura smiled again and put her umbrella back down to her side where it belonged and swung on her heels. âNow that weâre at an understanding, Iâll tell you who I am and why youâre so lucky. You see, Iâm Kagura, the Queen of Kabukicho, aru. Itâs an honor only given to the best of the best, the mightest of women. See? Arenât you luckyâ oh right, who are you Afro man? â
He can feel his own feelings of disbelief and denial mingle with foreign emotions of exasperation. Exasperation at the Afro man's pathetic mannerisms.
Nope. No, no, no. He refuses to be paired with a girl with the ego bigger than Bahamut itself with no physical characteristics to show. Maybe if the girl was a little older and a bit easier on the eyes, he could handle the situation, but, no, fate paired him with some weirdo little girl.Â
He arrives at the roof of the building without breaking a sweat, and finds that the girl followed him at a similar speed. Now, he knows not only that he has to deal with an annoying and unappealing kid but a strong annoying and unappealing kid.Â
The words uttered by the girl is met with an incredulous frown. "For a girl with a pure mind, you sure are violent. Extremely violent. We've been talking for maybe five minutes, and you're threatened me twice. Twice! Usually it takes like 10 minutes for me to get a single threat when I haven't done anything actually wrong," he says with some frustration and crosses his arms. He can tell the girl is being completely serious when she speaks and that makes him feel more frustration. It emphasizes the weirdo in her.Â
But, since he's stuck with her apparently, he decides the best way to survive is to accept his situation. He's been in far worse troubles that actually involved life and death; a minor annoyance like this shouldn't affect him too much. Right?
"But, if you say you're the Queen of Kabullshit-- Kabukicho, pardon, then I'll feel absolutely honored. I've never been near royalty except when looting them. I'll be your very, very humble servant." His expression displays a sly smirk, but he knows its no use hiding his bitter sarcasm since they could feel each other's emotions. He takes a bow and speaks, "Favaro Leone at your service."Â
The bow lasts only a few seconds before he stands straight again. "Do you want me to call you anything special? Queen Kagura? No, too formal. Kagrrra? Nah, you don't look too vicious. Kangaroo? Now that's a thought. Consider it!"
By the time he's finished speaking, he's scooted to the edge of the building, and he waves a little bit before dropping down backwards off the ledge. In a split second, he takes out his crossbow and fires an arrow with a rope attached to it so that the arrow pierces the side of the building. Using the rope, he swings to the building and crashes through a window on the third floor. He may have somewhat accepted her, but that doesn't mean he wants to actually deal with her too much.Â
Property damage aside, though, the little escape looked pretty cool.Â
