‼️help my mom pay for cancer treatments please!
hi, i’m sorry, i know posts like this are ugly and i reallY REALLY hate asking for help… like this makes me SO incredibly uncomfortable, but my mom got diagnosed with stomach cancer in January 2019 and we cannot afford the treatments in any way, shape or form… she already has medical bills over 50k and hasn’t even had any procedures done… that is all from diagnostic testing and one (1) hospital stay for three nights…
so someone in our community forced her to make a gofundme and take pictures for it because she hates asking for help too, but we don’t know what else to do… this whole thing has been so draining and emotional for her, but also for all of us…
anyways… if anyone has even a couple of dollars to throw in, it would really mean everything to us, but if not i totally get it. having money issues is my whole life lol… but please share if you can!! PLEASE! this really means everything to me and my mom!! thank you all so much!! 😭
Have been diagnosed with cancer. I'm working full time, but struggling to pay for cancer treatment and household bills. My son is working tw
THANK YOU so much to anyone/everyone who has liked/shared/donated!!!!! i’m in TEARS!!!!! this really means so much to me and we’ve raised nearly $2000 dollars!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE keep spreading the word if you can, i wanna help my mama beat this!!!!
here is the story from the local paper published today (5/3/19) covering a story on her as well, if you wanted more info/updates/verification/etc!!!!
There are few things more disquieting than being told, “you have cancer.”
6/2/19 update because somebody asked me if this is still valid
YES it is!! she’s ALMOST at $3000 so almost ¼ of the way there 😭 THANK YOU again SO MUCH to anyone liking/reblogging/donating, my mom and i are both eternally grateful for your support💖
7/26/19 update!
mom is scheduled for surgery to try to remove the cancerous tissue from her stomach on 8/7/19! the procedure is being done for free through a women’s cancer organization in our area. this is GREAT news, because this means she is able to get the procedure she needs, so we are very grateful. the bad news is the actual procedure itself is free but none of the other expenses are covered (facility fees for staying at the hospital, anesthesia fees which are done by a different agency not associated with the hospital, post-op followup exams, testing/imaging fees etc.)
so yes, it’s progress!!!!!! we’re so happy/relieved to be granted for this surgery!!!! but also yes, she’s still taking any support she can if you’re able to give any. THANK YOU again to anyone who has liked/shared/donated or sent me lovely supportive messages to show mom… i don’t honestly know what else to do but keep saying thank you, thank you, thank you! the only reason my mom is able to get through this is through the generosity of others, so thank you for having us in your hearts, you’re very much in ours too! thank you!!❤️
