I guess since Iâve been watching a lot of the show, I had a weird Big Hero 6 dream, that was basically an AU of the movie? Like, it was pretty much all the same, except when the building blows up, Tadashi isnât quite fast enough to run back inside⌠so he doesnât die. Later on, Tadashi is the one who gets extremely depressed because he thinks Callaghan is dead, then he gets really obsessed with finding the guy who caused it to happen. Hiro is still the one who thought of making Baymax into a more battle-ready robot, which Tadashi isnât into at first, but then he figures that since the villain is using crazy advanced tech as well, this is the best option to deal with it. The other characters join in same as before, and things mostly go as they originally did, except Tadashi is there. The other big change my dream did; Callaghan doesnât just blame Krei for the death of his daughter, heâs convinced he can make the portal work properly. His goal isnât to create the portal again to prove it was always going to fail because of Krei, he wants to build it again to prove his daughter didnât need to die if it had been done right the first time. The portal still malfunctions, and eventually is going to explode somehow (kind of upping the ante of what actually happened). Tadashi uses Baymax to help him get close enough to the portal to change something, so it will âimplodeâ instead, but he also gets trapped inside like Abigail did. Oh yeah⌠my dream didnât have a rescued Abigail in it. I think the implication was, Tadashi is now trapped wherever she is, but nobody knows, so it potentially sets up that they both return later. Hiro still has his fixing Baymax moments and such, and he keeps doing hero stuff with everybody else. My dream basically decided âHey, you know what would make Big Hero 6 better? More Tadashi! Oh, but what would make it even sadder? He still dies!â. Thanks dream, I didnât ask, but all right
