I tried, and therefore no-one should criticize me.
Scales were hard! Also performance anxiety! Still a little torn about the pose and everything, but I did do my best, the pairing was a little fiddly and there weren't a lot of markings. I DON'T KNOW. PBCs have been kind of hard lately.

Brown and green never fail to make a decent palette, though, and there was plenty of excuse for sparkle edits, so whatever. I think I could've made them twice as shaggy with ease, but the sort of delicate look also kind of works? In the end, sparkles. :>

This is a significantly chubbier take on polar-bear dog
Anyway, I tried to make the anatomy as bear-cub-like as I could, considering the stylization and also the hair and feathers. This is a much toonier style than my usual, but it was very fun to play with! even if the shading made me almost tear my hair out in frustration because it just felt too simplistic but anything more detailed would look weird.
Interesting colour experience. 8|

Fun and straightforward, though the pose needed a few revisions and I still don't think the tail is quite big enough. :|
I kind of love it when the colours just work together instead of forcing me to make outrageous rainbows and/or parental colour clones :'D

you get more images than normal because this took me seven fucking hours and I hate it but I'm also really proud of it and in the end please nobody ever make me draw armour on a griffin again

Quite an easy, straightforward pairing! I may have been a little too delighted at the prospect of creepy grins, multiple tails and whooshy shadows--on a canid, no less! *_*
I swapped grins between the head and tails and had too much fun drawing the bells :'D Overall: actually super pleased with the outcome :|

uh. I am really, really pleased with how this came out?? Breeding for the breeding admin is a leeeetle nerve-wracking, but I felt like I really blended the parents quite reasonably (considering that one was a marine animal with skin and the other had scales) (and considering how wtfbbq the plio's colours are) and I'm really chuffed with the result HEH. I am 0 confidence in my ability to draw water dragons and I was expecting this to be murder, but apart from the scales (i h8 scales so much sdfjkkg;k) it all came pretty easy?? YUP.

see paleos and ippos are made up of the exact same things just shaped differently so trying to blend them is a total nightmare
also the metal life seed nixed my glow edits, so there are actually none on the pets themselves, i just had to show them off somewhere; they're nice ;-;
colours were blessedly easy, except: rainbows : D

i took one look at these two and screamed, FU LION really unattractively at the top of my lungs
then I had to actually draw all the fu-ness and I wept so many bitter tears :c
there wasn't an exceedingly huge amount to work with on the parents??--One is, just, completely white, I don't know how to deal. Ended up reusing a marking, but I did try to make the babies as rich and diverse as I could. I wanted to avoid grey, definitely, so I was left with rather few options. :/

yeah, I loved the oakl too much to use more of the linorm ;_; I am really pleased with that mountain, though. Pretty straightforward cross once I settled the moral dilemma of whether I should use more of the linorm--it ended up with just the tail, eyes and mountain--the clouds were fun. c:

SCREECHES: THESE WERE SO FUN
ok so figuring out anatomy was a total killer, because I couldn't figure out for the longest friggin time what the heck that ornaga actually was. Then: ohhh, right, a capricorn!! So I did a goat with wings for forelegs and a nice, flooshy, mystical-looking tail courtesy that lovely fens. This was my first +30 edits-style life seed pairing, and I got really fuqing excited about them, then added...probably too much, actually, but Skitty said they were OK so w/e w/e disregard the constabulary etc. I'm a little concerned that the colours are too similar between the two, but both combos are--seconde me--rather nice, so I forgave myself. :'>

I'm happy with how the recolour came out, definitely, and I'm pleased as punch with my idea for the tail, as it integrates both the braid on the clyde SCC and the stylised zebra tail of the opterix xD Anyway, fun pairing, even if the wings were kind of a nightmare to shade e_e

Uh, pretty straightforward, I think?? I wish it'd come out a little chibier or nubbier but the result is still pretty cute, so, not too cut up about it :> Drawing that hair and the ridiculously floofy melotail was fun! xD
