madeline remained silent as she listened to him talk, “ah--i see. valid point. also, may i just say i bless you for not giving me shit about not wanting to eat cupcakes. the frosting...it’s just too much for me some times.” madeline shrugged, “sugar and coffee help get me through the day.” the blonde explained, making her way towards a coffee shop. “now, which flavor though, for that cupcake? that’s the real choice.”

madeline chuckled at the girls obvious concern, “don’t worry sweets---i’ve been in much worse. i’m okay.” she smiled small, “what about you?! where’s your drink!?” madline asked, squinting her eyes as if she were examining the girl carefully. “oh-my gosh! you don’t have one do you? do you need me to get one for you?” madeline asked, tilting her head to the side.

“I love what I do, but–” A beat passed as he knocked back the remainder of his drink. “I hate what comes with it. Like, what IS this? I-I mean, I never thought I’d be afraid of TMZ or shaking hands with cracked out celebrities at fancy events. Like, I never imagined that this is how my life would be, when I was making trashy student films for college credits.” He murmured, raising a hand to catch the attention of the bartender. Lowering his hand to tousle his wild hair, Oswald leaned against the bartop. “By the way, you don’t have to lie– I look a mess.” He chuckled. “You, on the other hand– you look like a million bucks.”

madeline’s blue hues peered over the party goers as the man spoke, nodding silently in agreement. a light laugh escaped her lips, “welll--i think you have to take the pros with the cons. you’re doing something you love every day, i’m assuming? it’s just part of the fame game.” madeline shrugged, “you look like you fit right in. and also, you look comfortable--unlike my ensemble.” madeline teased, chucking. was she blushing? madeline’s cheeks burned slightly at his compliment. “why thank you, but you can thank whoever designer this is.” the blonde pointed to her dress which hugged her curves in all the right places. “so, have you been at the party long? i just can’t wait to leave and get myself some Taco Bell.” madeline explained, as her blue hues scanned the bar, waving her hand to call them over so she could order another drink. when the bartender approached, “another jack honey and gingerale, please.” she smiled.

Imogen couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight of the drunk actress; it was funny to see familiar celebrities half-lit at the after-party. “Six? And you didn’t even bring me one?” the brunette laughed, running her fingers through her hair before waving the bartender down, “Hey, can I get two tequila shots?” Imogen turned back to Madeline and smirked, “Want to make it seven?”

madeline pouted, “I’m sorry--I’m such a bad friend.” the girl noted in regards to her coming empty handed. “the bartender said i was cute.” she shrugged before sighing, a smirk on her lips. “seven it is! but eight is one of my lucky numbers so you better be prepared for another.” the blonde actress explained as she smiled brightly at the girl.

Oswald has NEVER been fond of being in front of the camera. He has a particular hatred for high profile shindigs such as this one, as well– but his agent has somehow talked him into being less of an introvert for the umpteenth time. So what does he do? He ignores the press, and heads straight for the alcohol, only to come to a halt beside someone at the bar. “…Some kinda’ party, ain’t it? What is this– a nightclub, or a fundraiser?” A pause as he rolls his eyes with a crooked grin, taking a glass of vodka tonic from the bartender. “I guess it’s BOTH.” A nonchalant shrug, and a few sips. “Just look at these kooks.” He murmurs. “All dressed up and probably coked up, too. Then again, I mean… I showed up here in a pajama shirt with a blazer over it. So who’s the real kook?”

madeline lived for these social events-her smile electrifying the room, charm and wit usually on point; but tonight she was feeling a little off. her mood change prompted the blonde to head to the bar after she made her round of hello’s to the “important” people--aka, the ones her manager forced her to socialize with. pretending to swallow back her sarcastic comments as they made dry jokes and stood around in their stuffy suits. sighing, blue hues peered to her right as the man spoke aloud. taking a big swig of her cocktail, the burn feeling somewhat comforting as it trailed down her throat, a small laugh escaped her glossed lips. “ah--well, i mean, i think you look wonderful.” smile small as she took another sip. “ah, they totally are fake--one thing i hate about my job. it’s all politics.” shrugging, she finished the last of her drink before placing the glass on the table. “ i swear, if these events didn’t have open bars--you’d see me in the bathroom with a flask.” madeline teased.

madeline furrows her brows as if she’s going through the rolodex in her mind of all the names of wine her parents have at stored their house. “hm, never heard of it.” shrugging again, maddie calls over the waiter. “can you get us a bottle of that---” a french manicured painted nail points towards the girls glass. “thanks.” a bright smile was flashed at the waiter before he whisks away. “so--what brings you here? you actually saved me from a boring ass meeting.” smiling, madeline leans back in her chair.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, you’re just looking for an excuse to drink me with me, but sure. Try it.” She handed them her wine glass and smirked up at them. “Sit.”

“actually--i was looking to see where the bathroom was, but if you insist.” madeline shrugged, bringing the glass up to her glossed lips. taking her seat she hummed in satisfaction. “that is quite lovely. which wine did you say it was?”

“do you want to know what’s bad?” anastasia’s speaking to no one in particular, but she’s secretly praying that someone in the bar is listening to her. “that i don’t have anymore vodka at my house.” she takes a sip of her martini, eyes squinting slightly. “sometimes i just want to make myself a good mixed drink without having to go anywhere, maybe not wear pants as i look at the hollywood hills from my balcony, but god wasn’t on my side today and made me put on clothes and come to this bar. it smells like meatloaf in here.”

madeline was just about to order her second round of jack and coke when she heard the girl speaking. rolling her eyes slightly, blue hues peered over at the figure. “well---if you’re squinting by just drinking a martini, maybe that’s a good thing that you have no more vodka, you’re acting like a lightweight. also, sweetie, if you’re going to complain i’d suggest you take your drink on the go. you’re totally killing my vibe.”

“my agent says my fake crying is a little too over the top,” evelyn told the first person she saw before showing them a clip of the show that she was on from her phone. “what do you think?”

“Harsh, you really know how to bruise a man’s ego” The corner of Jace’s mouth twisted into a slight smirk. The blue hues found their gaze onto the other for a moment. “So I take it,your going to do these with me? ” The male asked in a joking manner with his eyes stagnant on her. “So how about this, you do one first and I will just casually enjoy the gorgeous view.” 

Blue hues rolled in mock annoyance as a smirk was still present on Madeline’s lips. “Well, I may not be strong--but I know how to destroy men emotionally.” Maddie shrugs, a chuckle escaping her lips as she does so. “Me? Honey, no way. I complain to my trainer all day long about working out. He makes me wake up so early, too!” Madeline whines slightly before laughing, “--wait, is the Jace Middleton hitting on me?!” Madeline clutches her chest in feign shock and acts flustered. “I think your whole fan base would be super jealous if they found out.” Madeline smirks, laughing. “Well, I think you can watch my ass as I walk away. My grande mocha latte has been calling my name for the past twenty minutes---” a  brief pause, “unless you’d care to join me, sir?” the blonde inquires, quirking a brow towards the other figure.
