âi mean, i always do that. thatâs the beautiful thing about netflix - i can take it outside to my balcony of my apartment and enjoy the nice weather. or maybe even read a book out there too.âÂ
â...Thatâs one way to do it.â He raised a sly brow. âI was thinking more along the lines of going out. Yâknow-- like, ACTUALLY going out.â A beat. âI-I mean, I get it, though. Being home is a safe space. Especially on a day off... and to avoid the nuisance of camera shutters. I canât fuckinâ stand that sound, anymore.â
evelynxtyler:
âNo, I donât think I have. How does it work?â
âWell, the idea is that you study for your role. Y-Yâknow? You, uh... you BECOME your character. Live your daily life as them-- I even go as far as to ask that my actors make a wallet for their character, and carry it with them. In certain situations, you should wonder, how would my character react or respond. Essentially, for the duration of filming, Evelyn Tyler should not exist.â Â
stfuaudrey:
âit really depends on the day for me, i do enjoy myself a good book. but most of the time i just end up watching something on netflix.â Â
âHereâs a concept-- enjoy the beautiful weather, outside.â
âiâve been in my apartment all day and i realized that i may have taken my day off a little too seriously. i definitely need to go to something productive that doesnât involve me binge watching a show on netflix.â Â
âIâve never been a fan of binge watching... Iâm not much of a show watcher. Iâm more of a book reader.âÂ
evelynxtyler:
âThe only one I can remember.â She had plenty of others, but she was too young to remember all of them. âActually, I think that might actually work! Thanks.â
âYou ever tried method acting, before? Itâs acting in its purest form. Itâs genuine, and real, and probably the best form of artistic performance output.â
imogenfleur:
âI can take a break whenever I like,â she chuckled although that wasnât always true, âwhat kind of slave-drivers are you working for?â Imogen laughed a little louder now, offering Ozzy a big smile. â2019? What are you making, a book or something?â Imogen looked over the stranger curiously, not actually knowing what kind of work he was known for; although, to be fair, there are celebrities on every corner in Hollywood. âWhatâd you get?â she inquired, pointing at the adorable manâs coffee mug.
âActually, I think I may be one of the slave-drivers in this god forsaken town.â Oz mused with a sly brow. It certainly wasnât far from the truth. Anybody that was a SOMEBODY knew just how awful he could be on set. Oswald was known to have unreasonably high expectations for his cast, with a tendency to yell. Something that no one ever quite pictured of such a silly, eccentric and comical man, off set. âA screenplay.â He chided. Reaching for his cup, he grinned. âJust plain âol black coffee.French pressed. I-Iâm a simple kindaâ guy.â Oz took a sip, and set the cup upon the wood surface of the table before adjusting his glasses. âHow about you? Seems like youâre enjoying it.â
wont be on prob til tonight since my internet is jacked and att has to come out n fix it!!! feel free to im me for plots though.
evelynxtyler:
âI was thinking about when my dog died,â the ginger explained, that trick used to work for her when she was younger. âBut I guess that trick doesnât work for me anymore.â She closed the YouTube tab on her phone and put it away.
âIs that REALLY your saddest memory?â A pause. âAnywho, fuck memories. You need to get in to character to the point that you need to cry.â
jfc-madeline:
madeline lived for these social events-her smile electrifying the room, charm and wit usually on point; but tonight she was feeling a little off. her mood change prompted the blonde to head to the bar after she made her round of helloâs to the âimportantâ peopleâaka, the ones her manager forced her to socialize with. pretending to swallow back her sarcastic comments as they made dry jokes and stood around in their stuffy suits. sighing, blue hues peered to her right as the man spoke aloud. taking a big swig of her cocktail, the burn feeling somewhat comforting as it trailed down her throat, a small laugh escaped her glossed lips. âahâwell, i mean, i think you look wonderful.â smile small as she took another sip. âah, they totally are fakeâone thing i hate about my job. itâs all politics.â shrugging, she finished the last of her drink before placing the glass on the table. â i swear, if these events didnât have open barsâyouâd see me in the bathroom with a flask.â madeline teased.
âI love what I do, but--â A beat passed as he knocked back the remainder of his drink. âI hate what comes with it. Like, what IS this? I-I mean, I never thought Iâd be afraid of TMZ or shaking hands with cracked out celebrities at fancy events. Like, I never imagined that this is how my life would be, when I was making trashy student films for college credits.â He murmured, raising a hand to catch the attention of the bartender. Lowering his hand to tousle his wild hair, Oswald leaned against the bartop. âBy the way, you donât have to lie-- I look a mess.â He chuckled. âYou, on the other hand-- you look like a million bucks.â
imogenfleur:
Imogen could see the brunette was most-likely busy but she just couldnât help herdself! He was absolutely adorable and she needed someone to spend time with. âUh yeah, do you mind?â She inquired as she grabbed a seat regardless. Truth was she was still trying to recover from her night of partying and she had yet to even take her sunglasses off. Â âI just needed a break from writing, my brain literally hurts.â Imogen explained with a soft sigh and weak smile, âAre you working on something important?â She took a long sip of her perfect caramel macchiato and savored the warm notes on her tongue.
Oz offered a soft grin from across the table as she took a seat and removed her sunglasses. âOh, yeah? Well-- shame on you. Artists do not have time for breaks.â A wink. âImportant? Sure. I-I mean, it wonât be important until like, 2019, but yes. You could say that itâs important.â He shrugged in a nonchalant manner before reaching for his bitter black coffee.Â
shoutout to Jesus for putting this man behind a camera
Oswald has NEVER been fond of being in front of the camera. He has a particular hatred for high profile shindigs such as this one, as well-- but his agent has somehow talked him into being less of an introvert for the umpteenth time. So what does he do? He ignores the press, and heads straight for the alcohol, only to come to a halt beside someone at the bar. â...Some kindaâ party, ainât it? What is this-- a nightclub, or a fundraiser?â A pause as he rolls his eyes with a crooked grin, taking a glass of vodka tonic from the bartender. âI guess itâs BOTH.â A nonchalant shrug, and a few sips. âJust look at these kooks.â He murmurs. âAll dressed up and probably coked up, too. Then again, I mean... I showed up here in a pajama shirt with a blazer over it. So whoâs the real kook?â
Imogen was in an inspired mood, the lyrics seemed to easily roll off her tongue today. She was deep in thought, her eyes drowning in the infinite words she had been writing; her mind was a mess at this point. Feeling the need for a breatherâafter finishing the hook, of courseâshe stretched out her body lazily. Her shoulders ached from hunching over her desk all day. Imogen left her house cautiously, hoping not to be bombarded by paparazzi. Luckily, she was able to slip by without much of a commotion and scurried away in her car. Imogen let out a breath of relief and headed for one of her favourite coffee places. The drive was never usually a problem, it was the arriving that could be risky. Once she arrived she immediately ran for the door, trying to remain as conspicuous as possible. She ran her fingers through her dark locks nervously and got in line, ignoring eye-contact. When she got her drink she was about to leave right away but someone caught her eye, sitting right in the corner of the shop. Going out on a limb, Imogen decided to extend her friendship to them; she had been rather lonely lately. She grabbed the seat across from them and smirked, speaking in her sweet, English accent, âHey⊠whatâs up?â
Oz had spent the majority of his day running errands(and recovering from a hangover). Heâd sent off a screenplay, sat in on two meetings, and amidst the whir of it all, he reminded himself that he was going to need caffeine in order to stay sharp for the remainder of the day. With his macbook opened, and a large to-go cup of black coffee, Oswald made himself comfortable in a corner where he wouldnât be disturbed-- at least he thought that he wouldnât be. Directing his sepia hues from the screen, up at Imogen, he raised his brow. âHey. Uh, I-- I âdunno. Whatâs up with you?â A beat. âDid you wannaâ sit, or--?âÂ
lito would be lying if he said he doesnât enjoy basking in the attention of the two particularly eager girls who are currently cornering him in the coffee shop, babbling on about how much they love love LOVE the show ( itâs apparently, âlike, totally a guilty pleasureâ ). a kittenish smile spreading on his face, he excuses himself from their one-sided conversation and squeezes past them, leaving them to fawn over him in his absence. just beyond he comes face to face with someone familiar and smiles. âoh, hey.â he offers a small wave. âwhat are you doing here? â wait, never mind. bad question. youâre probably getting a drink or something. new question: how are you?â
âHello. I see youâve gathered quite the crowd.â Ozzy muses with a crooked smile, his gaze wandering in the direction that the other had emerged from. âThis is starbucks, isnât it?â He retorted in a facetious manner. âIâm doinâ alright. I-I mean, Iâm just busy. You know-- but arenât we ALL?â
