"I’m easily forgotten. Just how I like it."
"Liar. But saying that might be the easiest way to deal with the fact that it's your fault."
a very special evening || Fayelle
The sound of candles burning and soft, slow music filled the room as Dani and Faye sat on the floor of her bedroom. Dani had a large blanket laid out for them, and had stacked away the dirty plates from the dinner she served. Danielle wore a small, cute sun-dress, which differed from her usual outfits, but she wanted Faye to see her in a different light.
Danielle smiled at her girlfriend, or soon to be official girlfriend as she pulled a basket over and two individual slices of pie in their own to-go boxes. "I did make dinner, so don't judge me for buying dessert... I don't have much luck with baking." The girl admitted with a smile and opened Faye's box for her to reveal her favorite slice of pie. "I remembered walking by the bakery in town, and you told me that was your favorite." The werewolf admitted with a small blush. As the other woman began to endevor her dessert, Danielle put her own down. "Will you be my girlfriend?" She asked suddenly and chuckled. "Sorry... I.. Have been trying to get that out all this time," Dani admitted, brushing her multi-colored hair out of her face.

"You forget or you wish you didn’t?" she replied, sparking up her joint as she looked over towards Dani.
"I forget," Dani confirmed as she watched her sister light the rolled substance. "I could never wish you weren't my sister. Even when you were gone."
Danielle || Stefan
“Well,” He began to speak, resting his chin on his hand. “It doesn’t force you to change on every full moon, like being a wolf would. That’s a plus.” Stefan flashed a kind smile. “What’s this all about?”
Danielle nodded softly as Stefan spoke facts and chuckled slightly. "A big, fat plus.." She added and bit her lip. "I'm highly considering becoming a hybrid, and I want you to be there. And before you ask, no I haven't discussed it with Hayley.. I didn't want to until I knew I could do it for sure. The only problem is getting Klaus to feed me his blood."
Wow, sometimes I completely forget I have a twin...
Danielle || Stefan
Stefan sat and held the sobbing girl in his arms. A pained expression loomed over his features. His attempt was to let her know he was there for her, and that’s how it would be. Whenever she needed him, he’d be there. It was a given, having a friend like Stefan. His hand stroked his young friend’s hair; a way of showing comfort without saying anything. Their way if being there for each other with no need for words astounded Stefan, and he was nothing less than grateful at having this connection with the girl he was cradling. Time passed, Stefan wasn’t sure how much, but his head snapped down to the pale girl when she began to speak.
"I’m all ears." The saying was metaphorical, but it suited his intentions the way he wanted them to. Stefan pulled out a seat in front of her, leaning on his elbows to allow his full attention onto what she needed to say. He hoped it was nothing too serious, for the vampire could not stand the thought of anything getting in the way of Dani’s happiness.
Danielle took a deep breath and wiped a thick lock of her multi-colored hair out of her face. "I-uh... I wanna know what you think about wolves becoming hybrids..."
Open to her family
Would you stay here, alone? Really, Danielle?
I'm not alone. I'm almost 18, you can't make me go anywhere, Ma.
Open to her family
What do you think if we leave this town behind and go live with dad?
I think you're leaving without me.
Danielle || Stefan/Family Only
Stefan’s phone alerted him of a new text message and he inwardly groaned. Opening the message to see it was from his young friend, Dani, the vampire’s mood shifted immediately at the serious atmosphere it held. Stefan grabbed his car keys and walked outside the household leading to the automobile. His actions were rushed, in case his friend had gotten herself into any serious trouble. Finally, he sped his way over to the familiar Lockwood mansion and used his enhanced speed to reach the backyard. “Dani,” Stefan approached the younger girl, noticing her sad demeanor right away. Wrapping his arms protectively around her shoulders, he cradled her in his arms. “I know, I know.” The tragic memories came flooding back to his mind.
Danielle gasped when she felt Stefan's arms around her and she suddenly felt heavier sobs quake in her chest, the wolve's hands instantly moving to grasp at her friend's shirt. Pained cries escaped Dani's lips at the repressed emotions that had suddenly been released, and didn't quit for a good five to ten minutes. It had never occurred to her that wolves were usually raised in packs, and had mentors that would help with the change and coping with emotions, but Danielle didn't have that. Tyler had disappeared well beforehand, and Hayley held no credit with her after leaving her alone during her first change.
When Danielle was finally able to retain a serious tone, she turned away from her friend to wipe her face clean and gestured to the other patio chairs. "I wanna run an idea by you. I want you to keep an open mind, okay?"
Sorry if I don't quite feel up to the formalities today... It's the anniversary of the day I triggered three years ago.
"What is that exactly if I may ask?"
"My future with this fantastic woman."
"Now that I’d love to see….but your right, it was just this one girl. Anyway I’m glad we didn’t do it."
"I don't blame you. It's hot," She remarked with a smile and nodded. "Good. There's bound to be some other pussy out there begging for you. I hear there are some that dig vampires, hard."
"Just tell them you're related to the Salvatores and tell them for each question they ask they must remove a piece of clothing."
Danielle || Stefan/Family Only
Danielle sat in her backyard alone as her fingers fumbled with her new phone and sat for a moment, thinking. Taking a deep breath, Danielle made a decision and sent a text to Stefan.
Dani: Uncle Stefan, I wanna run something by you. I'm in my backyard. Are you busy?
The raven-haired werewolf pressed send and relaxed back in the patio chair. The ones that Tyler used to sit with her and Effy in. One daughter in each lap, the thought made her smile and shed a small tear for the relationships lost.
It was supposed to be the first day of school, but was also the anniversary of the day she triggered. Danielle thought it was an appropriate excuse to ditch, and wouldn't tolerate being told much else. Though years had passed, Danielle still had mixed emotions about the entire event.
She could still feel the senior's hand creeping up her purposely exposed thigh. Then she couldn't, it was like she was out of her body, watching her doppelganger break a bottle against the pool table and stab into the teen's neck. Dani's eyes opened when she felt a vibration in her pocket and she realized that she'd been crying since she sat back.
"Women like sex as much as guys don’t pretend you don’t."
"I never claimed we don't like sex, but it doesn't mean we owe it to you. Besides, sex with women is so much better."
"Well that’s not a very nice thing to say."
"It's not very nice to think that a woman owes you sex either, but here we are."
