Dear dirary,
Last night was one of the WORST night of my life. Well, sort of. That's so selfish of me to say. Honestly though, a part of me knew we would make it home with enough time to allow my father to heal her. It's selfish f me because of the fact that I snuck out to see him .... I stayed out way past the time I should have. I was the reason my mom had to leave Steve, during a time when he needed her. I was the reason my mom came out to look for me. I was the reason my mom got bit by a wolf during the full moon...it was my fault.
Liz had tucked her diary back under her bed. She sat on her king sized bed, pulling her knees up to her chest, as she stared blankly out of her window. So many thoughts were clouding her mind. She replayed the scene over and over again. She pictured herself sneaking out, pictured herself in the woods with Rick, she pictured herself walking home, she remembered the look on her mom's face when she saw her standing in front of a werewolf.
Liz swallowed what seemed like a lump in her trachea. She couldn't just sit back and do nothing. She could have been dead. Either Liz herself, or her sweet, innocent mother, Caroline.
Liz flung her legs off the bed, and dashed out the door. She didn't know where she was going, she just knew she couldn't just sit idly in her bedroom.
Liz soon found herself standing in that very spot where the werewolf had taken ahold of the older Mikaelson's shoulder. She could almost still smell the distinguished scent of the wolf that ruined her night the other night. It was all too familiar now. It smelt like it was only a few feet away, but there was nobody there. Nobody there but Liz herself, and.... Hayley Lockwood.......
