The one that burns
Unlike the ones people usually enjoy in the cities, the buildings here remain destroyed for years. There is a young man is wearing a long-sleeve, button-up olive drab camouflage shirt tucked into a pair of pressed olive drab camouflage slacks with an olive and feature brass plated hardware belt. He can hear the sound of his footsteps. The silence in this place is deafening that he can only hear the sounds of his footsteps. So, he counted.
One, two, three... eighty-six...
"Took me to eighty-six steps huh" He whispered. He lifts the pieces of rocks in front of him. He finds a white handkerchief upon lifting some of the stones. It is clearly dusty, but you can still notice the embroidered sword wrapped with thorns and roses. It has traces of bloodstains. It's not just the handkerchief, even the stones of wrecked buildings that they passed by earlier. He decides to put it in the back pocket of his slacks.
"Capt. Seraf" said the man who is wearing the same clothes as him. His name is Kane, a warrior of war just like him. He is quite taller than Seraf. They've been together ever since training days.
"We're not on duty, Kane." Since they are not on duty, he does not like being addressed by his rank. Kane shrugs it off, but he did not fail to notice the handkerchief that Seraf inserted in his pocket. So, he asked.
"Seraf, is it from..." Kane did not attempt to finish his sentence because he felt like the owner of that handkerchief is important to his captain. He decided to look to people they are together with..
"From Lei..." As he tried to say her name, he felt some invisible lump on his throat. Ahh.. I couldn't say it.
How long has it been? They went away for their mission for 3 weeks to keep the people safe. During that mission, the army was shocked as they did not expect that their enemy will attack the closest city to their base during their mission. It almost feel like the enemy foresees it. It feels like they sent us a warning that they could bombarded the base anytime, or a miscalculation. The enemy did a large-scale damage that the citizens wouldn't be able to go back. The situation in that city is terrible. According to their commander, they were able to evacuate 890 out of 14087 people. Among those evacuees, that person is not listed on the list. There could only be two possible scenarios. Either she is dead or missing, but they are aware that the chances of being alive is only 5%.

My heart started burning.
I will always miss the way you reached out to me whenever I went outside. I found it cute when you talked to me because you crave food even if it's still early. It was charming that you also use a pillow just like any human would do. I am proud of you because you know how to open the screen door by yourself. It was so much fun the way you wiggle your body, not just your tail, and asked me to caress your fur and belly.
I hate it whenever you hump yourself to my leg. I hate it whenever you get the chance to go outside, and you didn't listen to me when I tried to ask you to go home. I hate it, but I will miss it. If there is one thing that I terribly hate that would be you being part of my painful memories. Do not worry, you are part of it but you gave me so much happiness.
My heart aches whenever I remember your lifeless body lying in front of me. It was vivid in my memory when your black eyes slowly became grey, your body became cold, and your pinkish paws became yellow. It must be so hard for you when you tried your hardest to crawl outside to vomit just not to get us enraged. I'm sorry, I did not do my best to fight beside you.
Something inside me twinge. Remember, my heart will always yearn for you. I hope you are happy wherever you are. Please be born again. Thank you.
She stands at the front of the store while staring at the people passing by. Later the cold wind bumps her skin, she shut her eyes and endures the chilly wind. a series of images went through her head, tears fell from her cheeks.
Hi,
How are you?

I don’t want usually want to raise my hopes because I usually get disappointed. But, right now I just want to raise my expectations just this once. I hope I’ll have a peaceful Christmas. ☺ I’m hoping for others too. Fighting!
You don't know pain until you are staring at the mirror with tears streaming down your face while begging yourself to be strong.
“How are you?”
She was just an ordinary girl who wanted to be loved just the way she is. She didn’t wish to be a princess. She didn’t wish for a fairy tale kind of love story. She didn’t ask you to slay all the dragons for her. Yet you did it anyway. You forced yourself to become something you’re not and forgot to stick to what you really loved about her. And then one day, you become tired and drained of loving her. You started doubting yourself. You started blaming her for everything. Until one day, you finally found the courage to tell her that she isn’t really your princess. You left at once. You didn’t even let her speak for herself. You ended your pain, but you just started hers.

ONLINE SHOPPING
Last month, I said to myself that I need to buy something that will be useful to me in school. I’ve been visiting online shops like Zalora and Lazada. Then, I found this little thing called OTG Flashdrive in Zalora. It costs three hundred sixty-nine pesos plus the shipping fee which costs ninety-nine pesos oh la la. At first, I'm nervous because this will be the first time I'm going to buy at Lazada. I purchase thrice at Zalora, so I'm already comfortable with buying things there. Going back, I'm telling myself to get a hold because there are a lot of bad reviews about Lazada that's also the reason why I'm holding back on buying things. I faced my fear. Hahaha! I received my order after three days of waiting. For me, the delivery was fast enough. Weeks passed, there was a huge sale in their shop. I want to buy a lot of things, but my wallet is crying, so I only buy one which will suit my budget. It is the selfie stick monopod with digital camera and mobile phone lens. I ordered it last November 9 and received it today. It was one day earlier than my first purchased which is the flash drive. But, I'm a little bit disappointed about the selfie stick monopod because it was shaky when I moved my hands. So far, it was good! More purchases to come.
