also, fuck cheritz for writing in a joke about v getting blinded and having his fucking abuser follow up to say BLINDING HIM hurt HER too. i cannot fathom who could possibly have thought that was a super cool and fun thing to write or how many people read over that and saw nothing wrong with it.

looking at all these little things i started writing about v but never finished feels kind of bittersweet now that he’s public enemy number one or whatever. i have half a mind to post them anyway now that cheritz has completely relieved me of my fear that i don’t understand his character, since basically anything goes, apparently.

idk who that blue haired guy in saeran’s after ending is, but it SURE ain’t jihyun kim

even just within the realm of saeran’s route, everything he does is for the rfa and mc. he actively works against the prime minister, he investigates seven’s disappearance personally, he puts himself at risk sneaking into mint eye to check on mc and explain the situation in full. among his final conversations with mc, he literally says that he no longer trusts rika, but trusts mc to keep saeran safe. he outright states that his motivation is to save the rfa from rika.

and cheritz wants us to buy that v would just... do a complete 180 from all that in two weeks’ time? what the fuck.

incoherent thoughts on saeran after end spoilers below

i’m gonna be honest, i haven’t played it so i could be wildly misinterpreting everything but i’ve been watching the tag here and on twitter. oh boy. what i have seen... i guess i was right not to be an optimist 😬

cheritz will fuck v over in literally any way possible, won’t they, even when it makes no sense for his character. he’s evil or whatever, he’s with rika, he gets less content than rika does (as always, thanks for nothing cheritz), we’re supposed to believe that he was never genuinely a kind person after all according to that voice actor interview and i. ugh

i’m so impressed by how cheritz exceeded my expectations of how badly this would go for v. they really took the bar, which was already so low it was on the floor, and knocked me right out for liking a character they cannot be assed to give a shit about when he’s not suffering in an abusive relationship or dead.

and i guess like icing on the shit cake, v will never get a kiss from mc, but you know who does? like ten separate kiss cgs? including one IN V’S OWN FUCKING LIVING ROOM?

The update dropped in the play store for me but it still says 'checking server' for me at least idk about anyone else but hopefully it isn't only me-

Hiii, hope you’re excited for the dlc! As long standing V fan, what would your version of V’s after ending be? I’m curious, since I just got into the fandom and his after ending just left me with a bitter aftertaste 😔. I just want good things for the mint haired dude.

to be honest, i would have really liked to have seen that proposal from the dlc title screen. or a kiss. or like... anything... the fact that cheritz used v’s after end for rika’s final hour “redemption” despite everything gave me such a gross feeling back in the day that i deleted my old mm blog a couple of days after it dropped LMAO.

drop any rika content that isn’t like “and the trial was rough on everyone emotionally but she’s serving time for all the culting and stabbing,” add more v being actually present, then tie up the loose ends with saeran and you have the platonic ideal v ending for me. he and mc could do jigsaw puzzles for the rest of their lives and i would honestly be more satisfied with that than what we got :(
