One year (and one day.oops.) ago was the @heruniverse Fashion Show. I'm really missing the #hufs community this year but I am so grateful for the connections we have been able to keep this year as we navigate this uncertain time.. I know we are all sad that not only do we not get another fashion show but also no #SDCC but the community @ashleyeckstein has created is strong and determined. We will bring it next year, better than even!! Last year was truly a blessing to be surrounded by my husband, seastar in law and BFF badass as the best support group. My design was inspired by my mental health struggles and the need to get back up when you fall (which I then demonstrated by ACTUALLY falling 😆). Happy 10th Anniversary to @heruniverse! This wonderful company has given me the opportunity the live out my dream as a designer for two years. Just as a heads up, this pattern is not really recommended for beginners. There is not a whole lot of explanation of the basic techniques, and it requires a fair bit of precision, two types of fusible interfacing, and an assumption that you can keep a consistent seam allowance and do some hand sewing and know when to sew things right sides together and such.

I am not promising anything, different methods will yield different results, I have never made a pattern exactly as it was written and neither should you. If you want something the same as the next person, go to the shops.

Actually, nevermind, this is a quarantine craft, stay home.
