Wonderful illustrations by New York City-based artist Lia Liao.

“I’ve always been addicted to the inner world depicted in films and literature,” says Liao.  “Therefore I have developed a metaphorical and sensible art style which leads me to plenty of editorial works.I love using abstract symbols and surreal atmosphere to express emotion and information within a limited scale of image. From a psychologist to an illustrator, creating a beautiful illustration is one thing, my main goal has always been creating work that can make people think.”
