“i have some lavender at home to help with the pain and a first-aid kit there if you’d like some help.” she sits still, though. although the both of them are hurt and her arms feel numb, she has to say that it is quite nice sitting there with him.
if under the right circumstances, of course.
he’s staring up at the sky when the movement catches his attention. sure, he’s still in pain, a bit less now that the stinging is ebbing away to a a simple warmth. but her wings catch his attention and he can’t help but forget about it for a split second.
sure, he’d heard about her wings multiple times after finding out that she’d also harbored a deity, but he’d never actually seen them. he wasn’t one to be (too) nosy, so he never quite pressured her into letting them out, but seeing them now successfully distracted him for a good bit.
they were as soft as they looked, and though he’d flinched at the pain of moving, settling down on the softer surface comforted him, and he felt strangely calm for a while. jimin doesn’t reply to her words, but he hears them- giving her a small nod as her hand moved through his hair.
and for a moment, he thinks he’s glad that chaeyoung is the person he drunk texted instead someone else. thinking about other people, he wasn’t sure how they would’ve handled his situation. but she was doing just fine. her words made him think, yet it wasn’t irrational like before. he felt better.
exhaling quietly, he gives her another nod before asking, “is going to your home okay?” he’d never visited. the thought of it was a bit strange, jimin thought, with a small smile dancing on his lips. coming to someone else’s home because the other was too injured to go on their own. it was like the start of a bad horror movie.
and yet, jimin gives her a small laugh, mood slightly boosting by the simple act of it, because he would’ve loved to visit.
if under the right circumstances, of course.
