“Yeah, this makes no sense to me.” Jimmy muttered looking at the computer scene. That was when he glanced over at the blonde at the other table. “Can you help me with this?” He questioned, showing her the laptop. “Got no idea what I’m doing here.”

“See here’s the thing Jimmy. You left when I was a kid. Mum was shit too but she stayed. She got better and took care of Bella and I. You just dipped and waltz back into our lives when Bella is dead and I’m 30 and don’t need a dad anymore. I needed one when I was ten. Fuck I needed one when Bella died but you weren’t here. You’re only my dad when it’s convenient to you.”
Her words were harsh but there was some truth to them and Jimmy knew this. “I get it. I fucked up. I fucked up a lot and I’m going to regret that for the rest of my life and there is nothing that I can do about that now. But I am here that has to count for something. I’m not going to stop trying here, Xanthe.”

Manon was incredibly embarrassed that she had spilled her coffee, let alone on some random person’s shoe. Jesus, could today get any worse? “I’m such an idiot, I’m really sorry,” she said, grabbing some napkins from her table and attempting to clean up the mess. “I didn’t burn you or anything, did I?”
Jimmy didn't mind it because it happened from time to time so it was whatever. “Hey, it’s okay. Really. No big deal.” He liked to think he was an easy going guy. But who actually knew if he was. “No I’m perfectly fine. Promise.” He leaned down to help her as well pick up the mess. “We should get you replacement coffee though.”

Manon was reading a book as she sat in the Coffee Bean with a hot cup of tea next to her. She was enjoying a nice relaxing afternoon not thinking about her entrance exam and trying to enjoy just the simple holiday season. As she turned the page, though, she accidentally hit her mug onto the ground, splashing on the person standing nearby shoes. “Oh, shit, sorry,” she muttered as she went to pick up the cup.
The holiday season were always hard especially with Bella gone. Today had been a hard day but Jimmy was trying here. He wanted to make sure he didn’t turn to his old vices. That would be bad. So instead he sat there in the Coffee Bean with a coffee and muffin in front of him, doing his best to focus on anything but the need for a hit or something. Feeling something hit his shoes, that was when he glanced over at her. “It’s okay.” He started to lean down to help clean up the mess.

Cassie smiled lightly, glancing over and then turning back to him. “Yeah… I’m not sure.” She said, shrugging. “I haven’t felt like wandering through the crowd by myself.”
“Well if you want some company I wouldn’t mind going.” Jimmy offered, looking over at her for a moment. It was totally up to her though.

“Oh… hey.” She had been wandering by herself aimlessly, feeling a bit lost, not feeling like she could go into the carnival and walk around alone like an idiot. She recognised the guy from the other day though, she hadn’t thought she’d see him again. “You… going to the carnival?”
Jimmy sighed a little bit, he was thinking about going into the carnival. But he was unsure if he actually could. It had been years since he stepped foot into it. Walking along, that was when he heard her voice and he stopped. Shoving one of his hands into his pockets. “Debating it. What about you?”

Jimmy was lost in his own thoughts, and that was when he felt himself bump into someone. “Oh god. I’m so sorry.” He stated, as he leaned down to help her pick up her things. “I wasn’t paying attention where I was going.”

“Are you alright?” She asked the person in front of her. They just seemed to be staring into space. And Leah wanted to make sure that nothing (emergency wise) was going on. “ Here sit for awhile before you wander off and not realize it.” @secretsummerstarters
Jimmy rubbed his head a little bit. He was fine. He had to believe that. And he could stay on top of his demons and not let them get to him. Especially with being back here. “What? Yeah, just thinking actually.” He moved to sit down. He still had yet to go to the graveyard. He just couldn’t bring himself to do it.

“Where would you like to go?” Jimmy questioned, looking over at her with a small smile.

Jimmy smiled back at her. “How about I repay you with a coffee or something?”
